You can Run but You cannot Hide from God—R Fritz

There are people who will try and run from God. It is foolish to even think about running or thinking you can hide from God. God is omnipotent, (all powerful) omnipresent (present everywhere). These are just 2 of his attributes. This just proves how foolish it is to run and try to hide. We are not really thinking. God knows every thought, every action before we move.

Jonah tried to run from God. His story is in Jonah chapters 1-4. This story starts with God telling Jonah to go to the city of Nineveh and give them a message about their wickedness. Jonah flees on a ship to go to another city. God sent out a great wind to get everybody’s attention on the ship. Jonah was sleeping and they eventually threw him overboard. A great fish swallowed Jonah. Jonah prays and is in the belly of the whale for 3 days and 3 nights before being vomited out onto dry land. This time Jonah goes to Nineveh and gives the message, and the people receive the message and repent. Jonah was angry that God gave them mercy and that is why he did not want to give the message. God gave Jonah a test to show him why he spared the city. This goes back to trying to run and hide from God.

It also goes to us wanting to do the things we believe God wants us to do. We do not know God and the things we do are according to “our” understanding of God’s righteousness. We do not know God’s righteousness until God reveals his righteousness to us with more understanding. Isaiah 64:6 says, “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.” When Jesus Christ came and died and the Holy Spiritwas given to those that have a relationship with him and are born again, we can understand his righteousness when the Holy Spirit adds understanding to us. Our own righteousness is like filthy rags, worth nothing.

The biggest reason that people do not do what God wants is fear. They know they have a calling on their life. They are afraid and do not trust that God will give them the tools to be all God wants them to be. Fear is the spirit showing you what you believe is your future. Fear is emotions of worry, anxiety, dread. You are worrying about something that might happen. We accept these thoughts as gospel or truth. They are lies with pictures in your mind. I am an expert, I had fear control me for about 50 years. I overcome fear because of the Holy Spirit and Bible verses that would stop the thoughts immediately. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 says “(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” The pictures are so vivid we believe them. The Holy Spirit showed me fear has a feeling. That is the dread or the anxiety feeling. The answer was this Bible verse, it would stop fear immediately. Remember we are fighting a spirit and have to fight in the spirit to win. Fear wants to take control over our mind.

God tells you in his word you are an overcomer. 1 John 5:3-5 says “For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?” Obey his commandments is the love of God and to believe (not just a thought but also our actions) on Jesus overcomes the world. If we believe the Holy Spirit will give you the tools, you will act like it.

Satan can control our thoughts if we let him. The more we obey the Holy Spirit the more we will defeat Satan and his spirits. We need to overcome our past and the issues Satan wants us to keep living over and over with us believing we are stuck in that same recording. It is time for the Holy Spirit to brake that recording and you becoming the person that God destined for you to be. God has a plan for each of us.

We believe that God has not answered our prayers when sometimes we do not know that God has tasked somebody (another human) to give us our answer. That person has a responsibility to give you that answer. We need to keep on praying. I have been that person to give somebody a message. Sometimes Satan knows and tries to tell you that the person you are to give the message to is not going to like it. Fear sets in, you have to overcome that fear and give that message. We need to get in the Spirit (pray) and let the Holy Spirit overcome. In other words, we need to let the Holy Spirit in you take over and not the flesh.

About 7 years ago, I had a trailer made in Missouri. I left after work and got down to Bloomington, Illinois to pick it up. I was tired and stayed overnight. I left early, felt tired and after an hour stopped at a restaurant with my dad. There was only one person in the restaurant, an older woman and she was talking to my dad about a church. My dad went into the bathroom and she started talking to me about backsliding and not going to her church. At that time, the Holy Spirit told me to tell her that she needs to go back to her church, which is where she belonged. I gave her the message. It was up to God to get me in that restaurant at that time to tell this woman in a place I never was before. It is God’s job to make the logistics work so I could speak to her.

This morning after I woke up the Holy Spirit gave me a song called “Trust and Obey.” I had to look it up to see if one existed. It does and was written in 1887 as a hymn. It is a strong spiritual hymn.

When we run from God, we are running into Satan arms. That is where Satan wants you to be. Satan will feed you the lies he wants you to believe, and we believe him if we believe all our thoughts. I have given information about your thoughts and where they come from. We need to trust and obey. We cannot go anywhere that God cannot touch you if he wants. Psalms 9:10 says “And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.” If we trust God, we should not want to run from God. If we love him, we will obey him. Those that have run, it is time to come back into Gods waiting arms. God cannot wait and the joy he will have when you come back. God Bless.

We must Focus on Jesus to get Through the Battles we are Going Through—R Fritz People focus on the battle instead of Jesus where Jesus […]

We must Focus on Jesus to get Through the Battles we are Going Through—R Fritz

People focus on the battle instead of Jesus where Jesus has the answer. To win the battle we need to trust Jesus and put our focus completely on him. When my son died, the only way I could deal with it was to focus on Jesus because when I took my focus off from Jesus the grief would hit me hard. It was the things I should have done before he died that I did not do as I wished I had done. I said to the Holy Spirit that I would be good in a month but that was not the way it worked out, I needed an extra two weeks where people would let me finish my grieving. Some people take months or years for grief management. It was with Jesus that gave me the strength to work my way through to move on with the things Jesus needed me to do. Focusing on Jesus and asking Jesus to use us keeps our mind open for the Holy Spirit to help us to trust at the same time we do things for God he can work on us and whatever issue we are dealing with. We do not know what the Holy Spirit is planning until it comes about. When the Holy Spirit works on our issues that require us to help and do our part if we do not help, our issue will not be resolved. When we wonder why we are stuck where we are, we need to look at ourselves and ask us why we are still in the same place then ask the Holy Spirit why things have not changed. What I have learned over twenty-five years is the Holy Spirit gives us the opportunity to change and when we get that opportunity to change we need to move at that time or we will wait till the next time comes when the Holy Spirit comes back on his time to see if you are ready, if you are not ready same scenario but the time frame could change a month to six months or more . It depends on us to make that decision; I saw what was happening after two times I chose to trust and moved in the direction the Holy Spirit wanted. I learned quickly after that time and I embraced whatever the Holy Spirit asked, sometimes feeling ten feet off the ground, way out of my comfort zone. John 16:13-15 says and this is Jesus speaking “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine and shall show it unto you. All things that the father hath are mine: therefore, said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.” When we do something so important that it will change our life completely, we must buy something as I did or anyone should, as the Holy Spirit is our guide and the one thing that will change us if we let it.

Our spiritual life needs to change once we choose Jesus. We must understand that our life has turned spiritual from seeing things in the spirit which we might have seen before to understanding our words or prayers are communicated through our thoughts directly to the Holy Spirit who lives in us not just the spoken word. We must remember God is a Spirit and we worship him in spirit and truth. Before Jesus died, the spoke of the Father sending the Holy Ghost in Jesus’s name. John 14:26-27 says and this is Jesus speaking “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Peace, I leave with you, my peace I give unto you; not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” Jesus came back as the Holy Spirit to live in us so we could become like him using him to show us love, grace, and mercy to live a life where we could overcome sin. That is if we choose to surrender our will every day. We should commit every day to follow and obey what the Holy Spirit has for us as we pray where I find out what my orders are for the day. Most days while I do the things I need done what the Holy Spirit needs are done at the same time or where I am traveling. This is where our minds and thoughts become one where we do not know where our thoughts and the Holy Spirit become one. How can we go wrong or make a wrong decision with the Holy Spirit helping to make us who we were meant to be? Fear stops us from ever finding out who or what God has for us. Why does that have to be when all we have to do is trust and listen to what the Holy Spirit has to say then move where the Holy Spirit wants us? I learned if the Holy Spirit wanted me to talk to somebody, I would ask the Holy Spirit to make reservations for whoever I was to meet. I would meet that person on whenever that time was, on God’s time. It works better than me trying to call to make the time for us to get together. We make things harder than we should when the Holy Spirit knows everything that is to come so let God do it and make life easier.

What we do not understand is we are all different, our plan and goals are different but part of a bigger plan. Jeremiah 29:11-13 says “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then ye shall call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken (listen) unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” We come to Jesus with baggage in many cases as I did, that baggage was not necessarily my fault, sometimes bad decisions where we do not know better as we listened to men and now we have the ultimate version of a heavenly Father with all our answers where all we have to ask and get answers when answers come at the right time. Remember answers to prayers come through men or whatever way the Holy Spirit decides to show us. We must be a student of who Jesus is and find who God is where the Holy Spirit was sent to teach us all things. Be the student and overcome our past and baggage we brought as we chose Jesus. Now find God’s plan for us, win our battles, and have a great life. God Bless.

God’s Truth Will Set You Free—R Fritz God’s truth is different from the truth of this world because God’s truth will have consequences. These consequences […]

God’s Truth Will Set You Free—R Fritz

God’s truth is different from the truth of this world because God’s truth will have consequences. These consequences affect your eternal place and whether you are blessed or how this life works for you. Sometimes we think we know the truth, but our truth is just our opinion, which is suspect. God’s truth is always true and correct. There is no question because the written word in the Bible is God. John 1:1,14 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” This statement is clear. God’s Word is truth, and the Word became flesh as Jesus Christ and was among men. Jesus taught men the Word, and they saw God’s character through Jesus.

We can believe in the Word as Jesus Christ because it has our answers. You might think the Bible was written over two thousand years ago, but how can it have the answers for the things going on now? Ecclesiastes 1:9 says, “The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be, and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.” This is a verse to ponder if what we are doing is something that matters as far as our life with Jesus is concerned, or are we doing things that are meaningless and really do not matter. The thing that is not new is the behavior, culture, and sinful nature of people. The Bible might not have the answers for your computer, but it has all the answers for dealing with people and what our character has to be like Jesus. This is what we are supposed to be showing the world through our lives.

Wisdom is what gives people the knowledge to do and invent things in the future. God had his hand in all of the future and the inventions that came about. What is special is that the Holy Spirit gives you the ability to fix things and gives you answers about the things that people years ago did not understand or the tools we have not even imagined. Most people have not sat down and thought about or had that relationship with the Holy Spirit to speak to us and actually teach us and be with us to remind us what was discussed. Many times, the Holy Spirit speaks to me for an hour early in the morning, and when I fall back asleep, I forget what the Holy Spirit said to me. I learned that the knowledge will be remembered as people speak to me. It comes back to me as subjects are discussed. God’s

wisdom is different because God knows all. We give ourselves too much credit for our knowledge and little to our Father in heaven. 1 Corinthians 3:19-20 says, “For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. And again, the Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.” Our wisdom and ways do not compare with God’s, nor were they meant to. What we accomplish in life has to do with our decisions, with knowledge, and our ability to overcome.

God’s love and his hand are in our lives, even those who do not know God. Yes, even those who are against God or consider God their enemy. God already knows our story and what we are going to do in our lives. He is just waiting for us to be who we were meant to be. Ephesians 1:11 says, “In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated (predetermined)according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:” Our outcome is predetermined by God after his own will. Knowing that gives me the desire to see who I was meant to be as well as see all God has for me.

I hope that it is our desire. If we are going to live life for ourselves and give God what is left over, good luck. Our actions show God if love is really in our hearts. There is no hiding from God or our emotions, wants, or needs, or what we want out of life; He sees it all. Our actions show that if we love God and if we love him, we will put him first in our lives. When you understand the principle of putting God first, you can bless your family and the people you work with each day.

God being first is every day, even if you have to get up early before work. It is going out of our way to put God through the Holy Spirit first. You might think you are not going to do that, and that is okay. I chose to honor God that way, five workdays a week plus weekends, until I retired. At one time, I decided to give God time at the end of the day but that did not seem to work for me because I was tired and fell asleep sometimes. When I gave the Holy Spirit my first hour of the day, my best, when my eyes opened, and sometimes when my eyes were not open, but I was awake, the Holy Spirit was speaking to me about my day ahead. This is the truth you did not think about or know. Do you now understand why my relationship with God is superior to most people?

I treat God like family, I give him my best time, and he gives me his wisdom and his understanding. God knows when we believe and are all in, and if we trust him by our actions, which are when we obey him and are willing to study about God through the Holy Spirit. We have to make that decision ourselves each and every day.

Truth does not always show up just because we are looking. It shows up because we are looking and because we are ready for the truth. People say they are ready for the truth, but the truth is many times different than what we are doing or what we believe. John 8:32 says and this is Jesus speaking “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Truth stretches our understanding. It also stretches our relationship with the Holy Spirit. That is what truth does. The question that needs to be asked is are you ready for “GOD’S TRUTH” because it shall make you free. God Bless.

Why is Passover so Important? — R Fritz

Passover was important because of the blood. In the Old Testament it was animal blood that covered sin temporarily each year. It had to be sheep, goat, or bullock without blemish, one animal being a scapegoat that the sin was applied hands on and let go in the wilderness. The second goat was killed for a sacrifice and sin offering and the blood applied to the mercy seat and their sin was forgiven with the killed goat for their sins where Aaron would go into the tabernacle for atonement for himself, his household and the congregation for their sins where the scapegoat was for removing their guilt. Hebrews 9:19-22 says “For when Moses had spoken every precept (commandment) to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined (commanded) unto you. Moreover, he sprinkled blood with both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry. And almost all things are by the law purged (cleansed) with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission (forgiveness).” This was done until Jesus came to take care of sin and guilt forever by his death.

Passover was when the LORD took his people out of Egypt. It was where a lamb without blemish was killed and the blood was applied to the doorpost. The lamb was eaten and that night the LORD would pass through Egypt and kill all the firstborns except those who had the blood on the doorposts and pass over those houses. That day was a memorial and a feast forever for seven days where unleavened bread is eaten. Jesus was the Passover lamb, the last sacrifice for our sins. Adam and Eve’s sin was disobeying God. Genesis 2:16-17 says, “And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” God was serious when he said these words. When Adam and Eve were kicked out of the Garden of Eden there was no coming back to God. They had to work to make a living as God would not be around sin. God wanted us to get back with him as sin needed to be paid for and that is where animal blood was a temporary covering for sin. Jesus knew his days were coming to an end. The day of unleavened bread (Passover). The people needed a sacrifice. This is where Jesus asked Peter and John to prepare for the Passover and found a place where the disciples could meet and eat the Passover called the Last Supper. This is where Jesus ate the Passover before he suffered. 1Corinthians 11:23-26 says and this is Jesus speaking “For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, “Take, eat this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.” After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, “This cup is the New Testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread and drink this cup, ye do shew (proclaim) the Lord’s death till he comes.” Jesus was the Passover lamb, the sacrifice and his blood that was needed to forever take care of sin and shows the power of the blood in forgiveness for our sins. We are to follow his lead and eat the bread and drink the wine or grape juice as asked in remembrance of Jesus till he comes back. This is how we are to celebrate Jesus as the Passover lamb and the New Testament.

The New Testament requires the death of the testator Jesus. Hebrews 9:16-17 says “For where a testament is, there must be also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise, it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. Our penalty from Adam and Eve was eternal death and God sent Jesus as a man to take our place if we choose him, if we do not choose Jesus that sentence of eternal death will be applied on our death. The Passover where Jesus took our place and penalty was our blessing. On Jesus’s death it was also where we could speak to God himself through the Holy Spirit who lives in us, where our Spirits can speak directly as God is a Spirit. God took a situation of disobedience and sin through different situations as we could not overcome sin. God sent Jesus as the only sinless man who could pay our debt because a man needed to pay the price. Romans 6:23 says “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” God loves us so much he made a permanent way for us to be with him forever after Jesus’s death. A personal relationship we all can have. We just need to make that decision of a relationship with God, Spirit to spirit and move forward.

When I figured out God was my only option to change my situation and my life, I was all in and that is me, that is how I operate. Being all in on anything after checking things out is my attitude especially when I see the impossible with Jesus. This is where Satan comes in and tries to stop us after that choice of Jesus. Satan either puts things in our way to stop our path forward to God or in my case and those like me going full speed forward to find God, he will push you to go faster towards Jesus to burn us out. That attitude of not giving up and pushing forward even when things are falling apart around us pushes us to be able to overcome. As in my start and walk with Jesus included personal issues that needed to be dealt with at the same time where personally it was two steps forward one step back or two steps back and one step forward until I found out the battle was not in the flesh, it is in the spirit.

Winning our battles comes from pushing hard to find the truth where nothing else matters for a time. When we find out all our answers are either in the Bible or given to us by the Holy Spirit who gives the answers many ways. God shows his love for us all the time and we cannot see it, showing our love to God comes when we obey him. The Passover was showing God’s love for us even when we do not show him or thank him. Every day is a new start, a time when yesterday was a bad day, today we get a new start and tomorrow we will see tomorrow. Ask God through the Holy Spirit to become a part of our life every day and see things change. Happy Passover and God Bless.

Sometimes we need to ask People Questions to pass along God’s view for them—R Fritz

People struggle with their life and fear keeps them where they are. They cannot see they have not moved ahead in their life. We forget if we are not moving ahead, we have back slid, most people want to stay statis quo, which might be a plan to stay alive but not God’s plan. We are afraid we are going to fail. What I have seen is when the Holy Spirit sends us on a mission you do not fail. I was sent various times to help people. There was a time where I was sent to spend time with somebody, Satan did not want that to happen and bombarded me with words on my way to see this person. Satan did not even hide he was speaking to me; I told him to shut up. My goal was to give this person two verses 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 which says “(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringeth into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” These verses are for fighting in the spirit. I have used them many times. God’s word says everything that comes against the knowledge of God, and every thought must obey God. These verses stop fear immediately for me because it stopped the thought where fear could not operate. In this instance I met this person in a nursing home. When I gave this verse to this person the words did not change anything as I could not see change as the spirit manipulating this person kept on saying the same words as my words did not change him like water off a duck’s back. I went home thinking I had failed because I could not see in the spirit of what had happened. Early that next morning the Holy Spirit revealed to me that I did not fail. The spouse called me to tell me that this person that could not get out of bed the day before was sitting in chair, clothes changed and shaved, a miracle.

We must understand God’s word has power. With the Holy Spirit residing in us, the words spoken are magnified. The words given to us to speak come from the Holy Spirit. That is how we battle in the spirit. The Holy Spirit taught me to fight in the spirit when most people did not know. When I pray for people, I expect their situation to change. I learned that from somebody that asked me to pray for people in their life one at a time telling me that my prayers changed for the first two people and wanted me to pray for the third. I believed God wanted me to know that God’s word or my prayers would change a situation. It was the Holy Spirit who lives in us who speaks through me. John 1:1 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” The Word was God explains it all. The Bible is God’s Word, which is why the words we speak from the Bible have power, spiritual power.

Satan knows the power the Bible has and does not want us to know that because we can take back the power given up through Adam and Eve. God wants us to know we let Satan through lies and deceit manipulate our thinking because we do not know where our thoughts came from. We need to sift through our thoughts and get rid of those thoughts that are unrighteous or ungodly. One of the things I learned was that unrighteous thoughts have a habit of speaking out if I do not get rid of them. The worse thing is when we are bombarded with many thoughts at once and cannot get rid of the thoughts that need to go. That is when the Holy Spirit helps us because when we are weak, he is strong. 2Corinthians 13:3-4 says “Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you. For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.” It is the power of God that gets us through our times when we feel weak and unable to go on. Knowing that the times we are beat down are the times we especially need to spend time with the Holy Spirit because our strength is the Holy Spirit, we spent too much time with us using our wisdom when our time should be spent praying and asking questions to get the answers we want but are not asking.

I was praying about a person that has been battling the same things for a time. What the Holy Spirit was giving me were questions this person should be asking that I asked them. Questions about their past and how they got to where they are now from a good place where they were years back. If we have back slid in our faith, we do not see it because it is slow. So, this person now knows they need to ask God how to get back where they once were. I have said this many times about us getting involved in asking God how to help somebody. This time it was the questions that this person had not seen or the place where this person was with God where Satan shows a picture, we believe we are good, when we are just getting by (status quo). We either do not know what God’s plan is for us or our spiritual life is lacking. When we have back slid when somebody shows us it is God giving us a chance, we need to take that chance to get right with God and start down the right path. We need to believe in somebody and trust with God as I have learned through walking through my issues as God puts me in situations where I am doing things for God’s kingdom. Too many people do not know God or are afraid to admit they have a problem and ask for help and forgiveness; it is our pride that keeps us from God’s blessings and a blessed life. What I told this person was that even though the Holy Spirit had me involved by asking questions my involvement stopped after our conversation. It is now a communication between God and this person, and I am out as my job was to open the door. With the door open it goes back to this person to communicate and keep the door open. Matthew 7:7-8 says and this is Jesus speaking “Ask, and it shall be given you, seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth, and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Keep God’s door open and communicate. God Bless.

We go into Battle in the Flesh We should know Why we Lose the Battle—R Fritz I listen to what I hear people say. It […]

We go into Battle in the Flesh We should know Why we Lose the Battle—R Fritz

I listen to what I hear people say. It is the same words people said before I knew Jesus. Being in the flesh when I was a young believer was always a losing place to be it was where Satan wants us to be. We do not win the battles because Satan baits us to stay in the flesh. The Spirit is where Satan Loses. The Bible talks about love covering sin, fear and loving our neighbor. What I see after people talking about love is they do not see anything happening then their next move shows what they believe because they talk about doing what men will try to control the situation on their own. It shows they are not spiritual or do not understand what spiritual is because not believing what the Bible says. What we first need to understand is God is love, not as the love we know, that is where we believe we love when God is the essence of love. 1 John 4:16,18-19 says “And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.” We know love as we have received love as God’s love is different as he defines it. “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” Fear is overcome through God’s love (perfect love). Fear has torment or a feeling, something I learned when I overcome fear.

What I have learned is in God’s presence there is love and peace, which is a place I do not want to leave. I have a place where I pray and God and I communicate back and forth to each other. It is a place where I do not want to leave in my house. The Holy Spirit lives in us or comes upon us. We are the temple for the Holy Spirit which is always with us. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says “What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore, glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” Jesus paid the price with his death for our sin so we could have God’s Spirit live in us when we gave our life to Jesus, what we did not know was we got the answer to all our problems. We just need to ask questions, understand who he is and know that he is waiting on us to have a relationship with us. What I say to people is to ask God to show us who God is. I guarantee God will and if we keep looking for him, we will find out exactly who he is. I say these things because that is what I did because I was going to find God.

I wanted to find and know God because the battles I went through were spiritual battles which I needed God to win, as I found out later, I did not have the knowledge nor the tools to win. We all have that same need whether we know it or not. Our battles are spiritual battles we have fought in the flesh and lost. Physical or medical battles are also spiritual battles that are lost in the flesh and yes, we win the small battles but lose many big battles. We have nobody to tell us because we do not know we fight spiritual battles. I had these battles twenty-five years ago when people told me to fight in the spirit, but when I asked how to do that, they could not tell me how to fight in the spirit. That was until the Holy Spirit sent somebody to show me then after a short time told me the Holy Spirit would teach me spiritual things. Getting the answer required me to trust and believe what the Holy Spirit said then put it to action where fear wanted to stop me. As we see there are a lot of things going on in the spirit as we show our belief in our actions. God is looking at who he can count on to be used to be his mouthpiece, hands, and feet. If we would take some time to consider what must happen for God to move people, we would understand why it is so important to obey God for our sake. Some of the things we believe are our motives to move are what the Holy Spirit has instilled in us. The problem that happens is we think we know more than we do, it is where pride wants to show up without us seeing it coming upon us. We think we do not need God; we can do life by ourselves. Pride comes before the fall and dwells in the heart where the Holy Spirit dwells. God will not reside where other spirits reside, we choose who will reside in us. Mark 7:21-23 says and this is Jesus speaking “For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness (lustful), an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.” We need to choose who we want to be or where our thoughts come from.

We need God in all circumstances as well as we keep praying, God will show us the truth if we ask. That depends on us and how important it is to know God, receive his blessings and to change our life into something where God and the Holy Spirit are leading. That only happens if our old life in the flesh is changed into a spiritual life where our whole life, physical, mental, and spiritual becomes who we are. The leader of our family and follower of Jesus where our eternal home is defined. Every day has a plan with God, enjoy life. God Bless.

Patience is a Virtue We Need to Embrace—R Fritz We do not want to wait for anything as we have become a society that does […]

Patience is a Virtue We Need to Embrace—R Fritz

We do not want to wait for anything as we have become a society that does not want to wait for anything. Our time is precious as it always was fifty years ago. It is easier to accomplish many things compared to fifty years ago, but when things slow down at speed can cause mistakes, stress, and health issues. We are getting things done as there are consequences for working long hours because it requires taking time out of our life, time we cannot get back. I have done the same things with the Holy Spirit being my wisdom and as working those hours also at the same time spent that time with the Holy Spirit guiding my path with a spiritual walk at the same time doing God’s work. There are few people who had that opportunity then took it where the Holy Spirit wanted believing and trusting God. Walking through what I call crap, the hard issues where we sometimes must be patient and keep battling where the Holy Spirit gives us wisdom as we go. One thing we might not understand is the timing of what we want might take time for us or somebody else to do as we are going through life. The other thing we might not understand is that person who is supposed to bless us might not do what God wants them to do when God wants it done and we must wait until they decide to do what God wants. Does that make us angry? It should but we have to look at ourselves and the times we did not do what God wanted on his time. Most of the time we do not know how we affect other people spiritually. Maybe that will change people to move exactly when we are told to do something because it could be our answer. Habakkuk 2:1-3 says “I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say upon me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak and not lie though it tarry (be delayed), wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” The vision that comes will change our life.

This is where our patience comes in where we ask the Holy Spirit for answers and we wait with patience. He knows exactly when we need things and will supply them. We need to let God know what we want and sometimes why. We expect our prayers to be answered immediately and when they are answered it is on God’s timing. The other thing that happens is our prayers are answered as we have not noticed they were answered in a way we did not see. We need to look at things spiritually instead of with our fleshy eyes as we have not learned to look in the spirit. That is because we have not chosen to change. That happens when we get closer to the Holy Spirit and ask questions, expecting answers to where they come from when we need them. I do not get answers immediately all the time sometimes they come where I am looking for an answer to something else in the Bible where I have forgotten about the question I have asked a few days or weeks ago and I see the answer as I am paging through the Bible. This is what patience looks like as one of the fruits of the Spirit. Galatians 5:22-25 says “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering (enduring or patient), gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance (self-control): against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” These attributes follow those who have the Holy Spirit inside them and should show through their actions. Our flesh does not control us anymore as we hear the Holy Spirit and our thoughts and actions line up.

These attributes of the fruits of the Spirit should make us different and it comes down to how we think differently in different situations than people of the world. 1 Corinthians 3:18-21 says “Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wisdom in their own craftiness. And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain (futile). Therefore, let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; Too many people use our wisdom, the same wisdom we had before we knew God, then the Holy Spirit came to be our teacher about God’s wisdom. Now we have a choice with a relationship with the Holy Spirit which many people do not grow into a Father, son, or daughter relationship. We need to learn after the issues we go through with the Holy Spirit to rely on and trust him. The Bible gives us information who God is and what he has done in the past because God does not lie and God is truth.

Life requires us to have patience; it is also from God. We need to learn about patience and with that comes wisdom as they go together. The fruits of the Spirit are a choice with whom we choose to be our master. Is it the Holy Spirit or is it to go back into the world and who we choose to fight our battles, the Holy Spirit or us? We choose and with that choice our life changes for the better. Isn’t that why we choose Jesus? Our belief is to have a better life and that is with Jesus no matter what we must go through. Learn as we go through life. God Bless.

Keep Praying and Speaking to the Holy Spirit, We will Hear Him—R Fritz You want our lives to change; we need to change, otherwise, nothing […]

Keep Praying and Speaking to the Holy Spirit, We will Hear Him—R Fritz

You want our lives to change; we need to change, otherwise, nothing will change in our lives. When life takes us down where we do not see a way out, we keep doing the same thing because fear stops us. We need to show people that their life can change; we just need to trust somebody, and then we learn about Jesus when we tell them how Jesus changed our lives. So many people are looking for a way out of their situation. We just need to speak to people; they will let us know about their life and their issues. We need to learn to be good listeners because our family and friends need our help. People are listening to their thoughts, thinking the thoughts that we hear belong to us, and do not know about Satan or God, with even believers not knowing about Satan and what we hear not belonging to us. We need to learn from our mistakes because sometimes we are put through the same situations to learn a second time. I speak about going through the same situation a few times. In my case, I asked the Holy Spirit why I had to go through a second time when I understood what happened. That time, the Holy Spirit did not answer me; he believed I needed to go through it a second time so I would not forget. It is a matter of putting our trust in God instead of believing we can do it ourselves. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Also, Psalms 56:3-4 say,s “What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.” God knows u,s and fear is a lie from Satan where we believe things are going to happen. We are pushing our past or present into our future because that is what fear does. When we trust in the Lord, we are operating in the spirit and not in the flesh.

One of the biggest problems we have is that we have no goal and no plan, so we live bouncing around and letting issue by issue define our lives. I was never taught I needed a goal with a plan after high school. We were not meant to fail. God has a plan for each one of us to succeed with the gifts we were given. We need to learn what our gifts are, and that is where the problem comes in, because we are not asking the Holy Spirit what they are. I have learned of some of my gifts after I retired, and some I am still learning. I could not write over 4 or 5 sentences before I started writing this blog. Even after writing this, the Holy Spirit would tell me the subject what to write but sometimes I would struggle then one day, when the Holy Spirit gave me the subject, I said, “I do not feel qualified to write this,” and that is when I was told by the Holy Spirit, “You are not writing this I am.” We forget the gift was Jesus, and then the Holy Spirit after Jesus died to live inside us. Now I do not think about what to write because the words are given to me as I look at the paper. Many times, I learn things as they are given to me; sometimes, I am amazed at what I am told. The truth is, the gifts we have now are operated by the Holy Spirit through us. In other words, we are used where our words and actions are used as the Holy Spirit gives us everything we need to do and what needs to be done in situations we are in. We are God’s hands and feet and mouthpiece to do exactly what he wants us to do. The words we speak have the same authority as Jesus had because of the Holy Spirit that lives in us. John 14:12-14 says, and this is Jesus speaking, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.” What we can do depends on whether we have the Holy Spirit, because we cannot do it on our own in the flesh. We have people who try, but you will not because God’s Spirit will not be duplicated. We choose whether we are with the Holy Spirit or are against him. Following Jesus requires us to choose each day who we will follow.

The battles we have following Jesus are sometimes because we do the right thing and support Jesus. He will not leave or forsake us. Hebrews 13:5-6 says, “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” He also says in Deuteronomy 31:8, “And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.” Do not let fear change what the Holy Spirit wants us to do. It is easy to say I cannot do something but takes real courage to battle through what you believe you cannot do and get it done through the Holy Spirit, helping us. I can tell that because I have battled through many different situations over the years. Some of the situations I am put in are places where nobody wants to do what needs to be done, so it is up to me to do what nobody else will do, or it will not happen. Some of these situations I do not want to do either, but God has other ideas, and I hear him.

We need to believe the Lord will go before us and be with us, and when we trust him, we will get through those things we could not do before. Keep praying and communicating with the Holy Spirit; He hears us, just trust him, we will hear from him. God Bless.

When We are Weak God is Our Strength—R Fritz

We battle issues every day throughout our life and after a while, the battles finally drag us down. They take us to a place where we have little or no peace. Our peace comes from the Holy Spirit, as we must remember where our peace comes from. John 14:26-27 says, and this is Jesus speaking “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” Our stress level depends on us remembering who our peace and where our answers are located. We must ask the questions that give us our answers. That is how a relationship is fostered and how we communicate with the Holy Spirit; there are no special words or a different language we must figure out, only normal words.

Our words come from the heart as we go through life and go through situations, we can speak positive or negative words, or say nothing. I learned to say nothing most of the time because our frustration comes out through our thoughts, then our words. Satan also sees how his plan to destroy us or make life harder or miserable is working. Our weapon against Satan is the Holy Spirit with love and hope. That comes from knowing who God is through reading the Bible or through communication through the Holy Spirit, and reading how people in the Bible overcame. Experience is what we learn by walking through issues and listening to other people who have come before us. We do not have to go through what somebody else goes through if we listen to others. One thing I did was believe some of the things people told me, and if God did whatever they said to them, he would do it for me, and it happened. That is what belief does, because without faith it is impossible to please God. Hebrews 11:6 says, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Our faith comes from us believing who he is and believing he is able and will do what we ask. Faith comes from hearing what God did for somebody else. Hebrews 11 speaks of what people in the Bible did. We must get to a point when we trust God with our lives.

When we are beaten down and weak in spirit, that is when we ask the Holy Spirit to shine for us, take over in our life as we must let the Holy Spirit work through us. The Holy Spirit is a Spirit (God’s Spirit) who, if we surrender to it, becomes who we are. The Holy Spirit uses our spirit, gifts, and experiences, then add his Spirit to change our old, sinful life into a new person with God’s characteristics of love, grace, and mercy, with God’s rules written on our hearts. We should know that the Holy Spirit is in a fight for our spirit with Satan, where we are brought into this world with sin, where we hear Satan (our thoughts) where our family directs our path to God or God sends somebody to deliver the truth and slowly we start to see things spiritual even when we do not know what we are seeing. The Holy Spirit does not force anything on us; it is a mutual understanding where we make all the decisions and are therefore responsible for ourselves. Satan, on the other hand, tries to be in control of our lives from birth to death, manipulating every decision through lies and deceit. Satan does not ask or give us options it is decisions that fit what he puts us through, using our emotions to drive us where Satan wants us. It is meant for us to go against God and his commandments; it is the test we go through where our faith is strengthened. I had been battling some stuff for a few days and went away on the weekend, then came back to battling the same issues. I heard the Holy Spirit say to me, “For when I am weak, I am strong.” My perception of the circumstances that I was dealing with changed positively. God’s word took the lie that Satan provided through Satan’s ability to make our circumstances look worse than they are through our thoughts, and how we see things. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 says, with Jesus’ speaking, “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly, therefore, will I rather glory in my infirmities (weaknesses)that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore, I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then I am strong.” Our weakness lets us give the Holy Spirit in us to become our strength. We have a verse with God’s word changing a situation, which is what I have seen happen before. When I climbed a mountain year ago, back when I got near the top, Satan told me that “I was not going up or going down,” then the terrain changed as I looked out. That was when I told Satan to “shut up, I am going to the top,” which brought back the truth that the terrain was as it was. The perception changed through my eyes until I called the lie out. That is what Satan does, he lies, we must understand that truth.

When we battle things, we see things mostly in the flesh. When we get the help we are looking for from the Holy Spirit, we see the breakthrough we are looking for as the truth comes from seeing in the spirit. That is why prayers and our relationship with the Holy Spirit are so important and why we need to grow that relationship. When we understand, and the Holy Spirit intercedes in our lives to show us the truth, we need to be thankful and learn our lesson to become who God meant for us to be. Strength comes from the Holy Spirit. God Bless.

Why Despair, Depression, and Hopelessness—R Fritz These are spiritual issues that are solved with our relationship with Jesus Christ. You can go to a doctor […]

Why Despair, Depression, and Hopelessness—R Fritz

These are spiritual issues that are solved with our relationship with Jesus Christ. You can go to a doctor who can give you pills to try to help you, or ask Jesus Christ for help in prayer. That is everybody’s choice. The answers to all our problems are in the Bible. You might not believe that. Our God sees us struggling; we just need to ask for help. Psalms 34:18-19,22 says “The Lord is nigh unto them that are broken in heart; and saveth such as a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.” The Lord is near to people who are brokenhearted and have a repentant spirit. He will deliver you from your afflictions; we just need to trust him. Most people trust in themselves, but do not put all their trust in Jesus Christ. When we build something, we need a solid foundation and build from there. That foundation comes from reading the Bible, putting Jesus Christ at the center, and building on that. That foundation, if started right and you believe and trust in Jesus Christ, can be added to like building blocks. Satin or the things you go through will not stop you from spiritually growing and gaining knowledge. Reading and studying are ways to grow, because with the Holy Spirit, it will constantly bring you more knowledge and deeper trust in the Bible and in revelation about what you have already read.

Depression is a spirit. That is the first thing that everybody needs to understand. That is your enemy. An enemy that Satan controls. A spiritual enemy that doctors are trying to kill or overcome. You have to be spiritual to kill or get rid of spirits. This explains the battle from those who battle depression. You are in the fight of your life spiritually. Spirits are commanded by Satan. The spirit of depression exists, and despair and hopelessness are the symptoms and spirits that are under the spirit of depression as far as order in Satan’s army. These spirits are so subtle, they just blend it as part of us. You have to be spiritual to see spiritual things.

Satin knows the Bible. He will try to mimic God. He will quote scripture from the Bible and purposely leave out words or change others, speaking to you. I know because I caught him a number of times where the Holy Spirit reminded me what the Bible actually said. I would tell Satin, I caught you. Now you know the truth.

This is how the Holy Spirit explained it to me early this morning. Depression gets us to dwell on the things going around us and speaking to us about our life, we start believing what these spirits tell us, and look at how bad our life is. These spirits have torment that goes with them. It gets down to you believing in the spirit of depression and the other spirits that go with it, or instead, you believe in Jesus Christ. The truth in the Bible tells you who you are because of your decision to be with Jesus Christ forever. The mind is the battlefield where all this takes place, and we need to guard it with scripture before the spirits can overcome us with thoughts they claim are from our minds. This is how these spirits deceive us. The Holy Spirit gives us the knowledge to see and test the spirits and those thoughts. Romans 12:2 says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” We have to renew our minds through the Holy Spirit. We have to discern what we see spiritually to see if it is good, acceptable, and the perfect will of God.

Because of us being born with sin, we are destined to die because of that. In the Old Testament, sin was atoned for through the sacrifice of animals. Once Jesus Christ died, he was the final sacrifice needed. The price of sin was paid for once and for all. We once had a spiritual relationship with God and lost it because of sin that originated from Satin who sinned trying to take over and wanting to be God. Adam and Eve lost the spiritual relationship we had because they did not listen to God and were disobedient. Jesus Christ won it back, taking the consequence for sin with him when he died. If we choose him, we will have everlasting life with him. That disobedient spirit still lives today.

We now have to choose Jesus Christ and everything he stands for, including obeying him. In other words, our words are the first thing to choose Jesus Christ. We must repent and change our lives, showing that our words and actions match. The Holy Spirit comes upon us. Because of our sinful life, we let spirits afflict us as well as spirits of the world indwelling in us (not the Holy Spirit). They did not ask you if they could reside in you. They just took up residence in you. You probably did not know they were there. They affected every decision you made. Because they were there, they afflicted you with disease and pain. This is why you had disease and pain afflicted upon you. When the Holy Spirit wanted to indwell in you, the other spirits had to leave, it was your choice who you wanted to reside in you, the Holy Spirit, or spirits of the world. Remember, the spirits of the world did not ask to reside in you; they just took up residence. Sometimes these spirits were handed down through generations, called generational curses (consequences for disobedience), and the diseases that went along with them. If you look back at your ancestors, you might see they all had the same disease or maybe died from heart disease or cancer “In Deuteronomy 28: 1-14 “talks about the blessings, verse 15-26 “talks about the curses.” The curses are for the disobedient.

The Holy Spirit is a gentleman and will not indwell with you unless you want it. You might not believe that, but “YOU” are the only one who can remove spirits of the world by telling them to leave. This is exactly what happened to me, and to many others. I helped them remove these defiant spirits. Those spirits still can irritate or speak to you after you have the Holy Spirit indwelling in you. They are speaking from the outside, thinking they can manipulate you like before. These spirits will try to see if you truly can be fooled. Luke 11:24-26 says, and this is Jesus speaking, “When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out. And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter inand dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.” This is about spirits leaving and the consequences of not receiving the Holy Spirit in the place where the spirit of the world was. If we are filled with the Holy Spirit, our world should be better with the word and knowledge of Jesus Christ. If, by the knowledge, you decide to go back into the world, you will be worse than before you knew Jesus Christ.

Our pain and disease are sometimes caused by our decisions, sometimes by our ancestors, and sometimes because of our actions. Whether it is mental or physical, it still hurts. Since I have chosen Jesus Christ, followed him with all my heart, and studied the Bible for over 20 years, it has taken time to find answers, peace, and healing. I had no clue, once I made that decision to follow Jesus, what I would have to go through or where I would end up now. I can say that the physical pain has gone, and I have overcome fear. I have been blessed in many different areas. The spiritual knowledge I have gained and continue to gain makes this life better day by day. I had struggled to overcome fear. The Holy Spirit has shown me where to find the answers. God has answered my prayers many times. The clue to blessings and prayers answered is obedience and prayer. A lot of people have questioned me when I say that they should keep on praying; in their minds, the answer should have come. It’s on God’s timing, not ours; he knows our situation. God looks at your heart. You can do the same things I did, but faster. You do not have to go through what I went through. Just follow the answers that I have learned and apply them. The “Hope” is in Jesus Christ and living forever in Heaven with no pain. If you are really feeling down, read the Psalms. They were David’s prayers to God. They can be yours if you want. God Bless!
