What is God’s Truth Compared to What Men Believe it is—R Fritz
I have seen people think they know the truth, what I see sometimes is the truth that they want to happen through their eyes. It does not have Jesus Christ involved in their decision. It is their truth, the truth they want, a false truth. John 17:17 say and this is Jesus speaking “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” In other words what they think as truth and does not line up with God’s word is not truth but their wish or want. If we are living on our thoughts, God is not involved. The Holy Spirit and that relationship and us surrendering your will gives us the truth on any issue that comes up in our life.
There is only one truth and that comes from Jesus Christ. Anything less than that is our opinion. Everybody has an opinion on everything, what makes your opinion better than the next person. I use to say your knowledge and that helps but there is a bigger picture to look at. It is the picture of the Holy Spirit showing you the spiritual picture and not what you think through your intellect. We make decisions and opinions on what we hear and see. We cannot see around things that block our view or we listen to other people we know and their views and get an opinion. John 14:17 says and this is Jesus speaking, “Even the Spirit of Truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you and shall be in you.” Those that are not believers of the Holy Spirit have to see things to believe them and if you have the Holy Spirit, it will let you know the truth.
The Holy Spirit gives us the ability to see the whole picture. It is from all angles. It is the true picture. One that does not require an opinion but listening and obeying the Holy Spirit. This is what I see in in some situations. We have the opportunity to see the true picture if we want to or choose the way you have done all your life. One way is the truth the other is a wish or want or opinion but not the truth. Sometimes it is the hope of what we want but if it is not of Jesus Christ, it is not the truth.
People say to me God is not speaking to me. I say you are not listening or watching. He uses everything around you to teach you. I say that because he does it to me. I moved somebody from another city down here with other people helping. It started out well, but things went wrong with this person. This person made bad decisions, but it was always somebody else who was at fault. They
expected somebody else to take care of them after their mistakes. They believe there are no consequences for their actions. God had a plan to show them they were responsible for their self. The second thing was they needed to trust God instead of themselves. It is always up to us to see God training us, but a lot of people do not see what God is doing because even though their life is not what they want, they are afraid to trust God, so what they have for a life is not bad enough for them to take that leap of faith.
Spirits of this world also dictate their actions and thoughts and not knowing the truth. Satan knows the Bible and can change a word or add words for us to believe the wrong thing or takes verses out of context. James 2:19 says “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.” The spirits know God and the Bible. Satan has tried to give me verses and the Holy Spirit showed me the truth that they were missing words and what was going on. This person knew verses, but they were out of context and would only use the name of Jesus to look legitimate to me or to get me to do what they wanted. They were good at making people feel sorry for them (a user of people). We have to be careful people are legit and are looking for help through Jesus Christ or enabling them to get want they want without following The Truth of the Bible. Their truth is made up and warped because “they pull the wool over most peoples eyes.” I told this person they needed the Holy Spirit and watched their reaction. I truly got an education.
This is what I tell people, you have to go through things for Jesus Christ to learn valuable lessons. It comes down to you trusting what the Holy Spirit tells you and believing that no matter what happens God has your back. I have asked God to take care of family as I do whatever God asks. We make a choice every day who we will follow and obey. You might not say to yourself, “I am with you Jesus Christ.” Your actions will show Jesus where you stand and trusting the Holy Spirit will give you the confidence to do what you hear or the nudging from the Holy Spirit to get you moving when God wants you to move. You have to trust that nudging is the Holy Spirit, it is knowing when the Holy Spirit is speaking to you through your spirit, Spirit to spirit.
Blessings come by obedience. Obedience is you putting God first in your life. It is always keeping Jesus and his nature and teachings and his “Love” in the front of
your mind so that every situation that comes up you use that same nature and love to manage everything that comes up. That is the Holy Spirit and you combining to do what Jesus said we could do. Sometimes we have to let people go because they choose the spirits they know or have listened to their whole life. Everybody has that choice every day who is their “master.” I choose Jesus Christ and will follow him it is now up to you who do you choose. It is overcoming the world just like Jesus did and the prize being “Eternal Life.” God Bless.
