Our Purpose
In this world in which we are living, it is obvious that the Word of God needs to reach those that are lost and are searching for answers to events surrounding the news media that are bombarding us with what is in most cases, false news. There is no doubt in our minds that all the answers are found in the scriptures of the Holy Bible and it is our intent to search the scriptures thoroughly and find the answers to everyday questions that are people are pondering. There is no way that anybody can exhaust the whole Bible and know all the answers, but through divine inspiration from the Holy Spirit, that we will be lead according to His will. One thing that we hear out in the world is, “The Bible is too hard to understand.” The mistake that people most commonly make is, they think they can read and understand the Bible without guidance from the Holy Spirit and that is impossible. We will take scriptures out of the Bible and try our best to bring them to life. The Word of God is a living testimony of Jesus Christ and in order to know the living God (Jesus Christ) you have to understand the written Word.
It is or hope that we will lead people to the saving knowledge and wisdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! It is our intent to encourage people to get into the Word of God and hear what our Lord has to say to you. We understand that no human being alive can save another human being from the destruction of sin. Only by grace can one be forgiven through faith and that in and of itself is a free gift generously given to us by our heavenly Father through the death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ! It is our intent to bring to life the truth of salvation through Jesus Christ! There are two particular verses in the Bible that we keep in the front our memory bank. Acts 17:11; “These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.” We expect you to be a Berean and search the scriptures daily to make sure that we are guiding you in all truth according to God’s Word. Secondly, Romans 8:28; “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Once you become born-again and know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, then you can be assured that everything that happens in your life will be Father filtered.

I lived the first 18 years of my life on a small family farm southwest of Oshkosh, WI. I had 3 brothers and 3 sisters and had work to do every day. We went to Sunday school almost every Sunday until we were in high school. I didn’t really know who Jesus was. I got married and had kids and took them to Sunday school and went to church at least a couple times a year. After a few years, the Pastor made some comments that I didn’t like and quit going altogether.
I went through life thinking I could do things my way. After over 20 years of marriage, we started having issues. This is when I knew I needed help and started to go to different churches until I found one where spiritual things were happening and met a couple of people who knew God. At this time, the holy spirit also met me at my house and started to reveal spiritual things to me. This is when I made a deal with God to straighten out my marriage and I would do whatever he asked.
God kept his end of the deal and I am keeping my end of the deal. At that time, the devil also wanted to keep attacking me and I called him out and he showed up outside my house. I did not know how to fight him at the time. I got a phone call from my pastor that said to stop doing what I was doing, that I was way over my head and did not understand what I was doing. I started reading spiritual warfare books, where the answers would come for the battles I was going through.
One day I opened a book and God told me I needed to start reading the Bible. People around me said I needed to fight in the spirit, and I would ask how to do that, but they couldn’t tell me. The Holy Spirit taught me how to fight in the spirit world.
My Pastor at the time moved to Duluth, Minnesota and I went up to see him. He told me that he was getting sick and before going to the hospital asked me to give the sermon at the church. The next morning when we got to the church, a church member came to me and said that he was praying, and God showed him I was supposed to give the sermon. Now I have been afraid of people and speaking in front of people all my life. I hung on to the pulpit and did not look up much. The sermon was about my spiritual battles and how God was helping me overcome the things going on in my life.
A couple of years later I met somebody in Appleton, WI who showed up with a written message. After reading it I stopped over at his house. He Baptized me, and then we started having Bible studies, sometimes to 12 or 1 in the morning almost every day. This is where and how I was going do anything to find God. Let me tell you if you keep reading, studying, seeking him, you will find him. Hebrews 11:6: “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
The Holy Spirit started answering my questions before I got them out of my mouth and told me he would be teaching me from that point on. I fasted for 28 days during that time. I had to overcome “Fear” before I could do God’s work. The only way to overcome fear was to take it head on. The Holy Spirit taught me through Bible verses to overcome fear in every place in my life.
People around you often do not believe you can change, so I had to prove it. I was the Financial Secretary at my Union at the time. I read a letter that the international union had a chaplaincy committee for 30 years and the Holy Spirit said I should wait a year and start one. I brought it up to the union board and had a vote. They did not really want it, God won out by 1 vote. Now I had to wait for God to send me more people (Chaplains) and I got 3 more people. We started talking to people and praying for people at work, and 3 years later a woman chaplain asked me if we could counsel people and I said we couldn’t do it because we did not have degrees. The Holy Spirit puts in my heart to find this couple I saw at a conference. I went on my phone to find this couple and called them. The Holy Spirit wanted us to become ordained as Chaplains. The union voted to bring this couple in to ordain us. We ordained 5 chaplains through a 30-hour coarse. The Holy spirit revealed to me that “suicide” would be my specialty. We were told that we could do Biblical Counseling without a degree. The next year I started teaching what I had learned about suicide. People would come to me to stop a suicide from happening.
We now have 10 Chaplains and I am a retired Chaplain. I have personally known Jesus for over 20 years now. The Holy Spirit sends me out to give messages or pray for people wherever I go. One of the first Bible verses given to me by the Holy Spirit was (King James Version) Ephesians 6:12: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” This reminds me of who we are really fighting, not people but spiritual things.
