How the Holy Spirit Benefits Everything We do—R Fritz
When we put God first in everything we do, God blesses us. There are few who are committed and trust the Holy Spirit with their life. We have to get through all the issues that happened in our life. Sometimes we do not know them until the Holy Spirit shows us and then it is up to us to choose whether to tackle our issues and when. I learned when the Holy Spirit showed me issues to tackle, I chose to tackle them immediately. Most of the time our issues were lies we believed from Satan that the Holy Spirit revealed to us. The benefit is overcoming them and moving on with more trust.
We think we are good so everything is great. We do not see what is going on in our life because we are looking in the flesh and cannot see everything. The Holy Spirit sees spiritually which is from all angles front and back, above and below. You cannot see what is behind you. The Holy Spirit showed me my job is to watch people’s backs. Sometimes it is praying and seeing what is going on in the spirit even though I am not with them. Psalm 5:12 says “For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass (surround) him as with a shield.” The Lord will bless the righteous and be their shield or cover. It is God watching out for those that are righteous, those under the Holy Spirit.
For those that are surrendered the Holy Spirit knows our heart and our willingness to do whatever is asked of us. Because we are surrendered it is sometimes just us obeying, believing the Holy Spirit is controlling every move and word.
A couple of weeks ago I tried to explain and share some pictures the Holy Spirit was showing me to a couple of people because it was for them and got questioned harshly. After explaining I said to myself “why did I even say anything” as soon as I thought that the Holy Spirit said to me “because I told you to.” This was me knowing assuredly that what I said was the Holy Spirit in me moving me to speak which was what the Holy Spirit wanted me to do. I want to know for sure I am doing what the Holy Spirit wants me to do.
The next story happened over a month ago with the Holy Spirit revealing more things that happened after I met with the couple I helped. The story reveals what Satan tried to do to this person. He wanted to eliminate this person. Those were the words that the Holy Spirit gave me to write last week. I questioned if that was what I was supposed to write and changed the words I used. I felt it was for me to let those words get into my soul. The story starts with a person who went to the hospital with people telling this person they were going to die. Words are so powerful and if somebody keeps telling you something you will eventually going to believe the words spoken. The problem was this person got better and recovered from their issue. It was a matter of getting stronger. This person’s spouse asked me to come and talk to them. It was a very windy, nasty, snowy day turning into night. The spouse told me later that a dark cloud came by the window at the hospital and sleet pounded the window, the spouse started to pray against the weather thinking it would stop me from coming. I really did not know this couple very well and was thinking about what to say as I was driving. When I looked at this person, I said “What are you doing in bed the heavy lifting was done by Jesus Christ, you just have to get out of bed.” “Why are you still in bed.” I looked at the note board and saw it said they had recovered and said to them “you are not going to die you have recovered, it is written on your note board so it has to be true.” I said this three times. This person was not eating and was giving up. This person’s mental state had deteriorated in believing lies told by people that should have been giving encouragement and not telling this person was going to die.
What the Holy Spirit revealed later was Satan wanted to eliminate this person using people and their words. It was also revealed last week that just like I told this person that they were cured, I did not know at that time all I had to do was speak the words given by the Holy Spirit, the rest was done. It was revealed the next day that after I left this person wanted to get out of bed. That does not quite end this story. This person was sent to a nursing home for rehabilitation. People were not used against this person at the nursing home. It was a battle between God and Satan, Satan attacking this person’s mind. I was asked to go talk to them, Satan tried to stop me from going there by bombarding my mind with Satan’s words, I just tuned Satan out. Before I went, the Holy Spirit gave me a Bible verse to give to this person, 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 which says “(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” This person did not accept this verse. It was the perfect verse to win their battle. I went home thinking I failed. The next morning the Holy Spirit told me I did not fail. An hour later I received a phone call from the spouse telling me they saw this person has enough strength to go to the bathroom on their own. One week later I drove this person home. This is quite not over yet. A couple of weeks later this person fell down outside and could not get up. Forty-five minutes later somebody came and picked this person up and got this person in the house. We need to watch what is going on with people so we can overcome Satan who might be trying to eliminate any of us.
Satan is limited to what he can do so he uses people through their minds and emotions to do what he needs to be done. They are not necessarily doing it on purpose, they are just being used without their knowledge. They do not have their emotions under control so Satan can use them.
We have three choices, surrender our will and speak and be controlled by the Holy Spirit helping people Or living life with Jesus and trying to overcome the flesh but our emotions stopping us and sometimes lashing out with Satan sometimes using us Or living life our way and speaking our thoughts and acting on how we feel where Satan will use us. 1 John 3:16-17 says “Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?” We are supposed to help our fellow man to the point of laying down our life or we do not have the love of God in us. This also shows how Jesus showed his love and how we show our love through how we treat people.
I have made my choice it is now up to you to choose how much of Jesus you want and whether or not you will go beyond where you are and get closer to Jesus through the Holy Spirit. You will never regret that decision of being with Jesus in spirit. God Bless.
