God has a Plan for Each of Our Lives—R Fritz

Our lives have a plan associated with them. That plan is from God. Do you ever think about what God has for us? This is wondering who we can be and looking at who we are at that moment. Who we want to be, or God’s plan requires us to change what we are doing. If we refuse to change sometimes requires God to put things in motion to get us to move. God moves us by the things that happen to us or situations he puts us into. God does that through the Holy Spirit. The more we are surrendered the more it gives us the ability to change and to see when the Holy Spirit participates in our issues or the things happening around us. I have seen when I have had to help other people get through their issues that the Holy Spirit is also working on things I need to work on. It goes back to us doing God’s plan. We lose focus on what and who God wants us to be.

God gives us information and we think it is us where our thoughts come from. Our thoughts come from basically three places, our thoughts which are things we read or hear, God’s voice, or Satan’s whisper. Our mind ponders the things we hear, and we cycle through what we hear and decide on our next move or to make decisions farther out in our life. 1 Corinthians 14:33 says “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.”  What I have learned was to get rid of the thoughts that I know are not righteous because if we do not get rid of those bad thoughts and let them bounce around our minds they will come out of our mouths. I have learned that the hard way, which is why I dispose of the thoughts immediately that are not righteous.

Satan wants to bombard us with thoughts rapidly so we cannot discern our thoughts and discard the ones that are unrighteous. Satan’s plan is to steal, kill and destroy anything that comes from God. John 10:10 says and this is Jesus, speaking “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill and to destroy: I come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly.” Satan and his minions are the thieves that want to destroy you. The tactics Satan uses is to sometime come as an angel of light and when we think it is God, Satan has us where he wants us. It is the Holy Spirit that changes the outcome. Satan’s plan is to use his tools such as fear, confusion, lies, and emotions such as pride, envy, lust, disappointment, discouragement, doubt, and division to go back to our old life and stray from God. It is us needing to “know” Satan’s tricks and schemes when they happen because it is one of Satan’s tricks to make every thought or deed a personal attack.

This is when you discern something is not right and the Holy Spirit shows us what is really happening. You might get angry at somebody, but you are shown that it is not as we perceive. It is Satan whispering in our ears and telling us that it is somebody else’s fault. We have to learn from our experiences and our training from the Holy Spirit to have any chance of overcoming Satan and changing into righteous people. Satan wants to give you lies to replace the truth you are looking for. Satan uses lies with a little truth for us to believe what is said. We accept that statement because we know that truth is supplied and then believe the rest of the statement as truth. We need to subtract the truth from the lies. Satan wants to divide God’s people on any issue and does.

Your plan is different than my plan because we are different people with different personalities and different gifts from God. Our thoughts and how we look at things are different, which does not necessarily make them wrong if they line up with the Bible. Together we make a very formidable “team” if we decide to follow Jesus and obey the Holy Spirit where we know what our part in his plan and can move in what direction he wants us to go. The Holy Spirit is God that if you know him and have that relationship gives you orders as you are walking as well as speaking what is needed immediately given to you for your information or to give to somebody else and change their life. We just need to trust the Holy Spirit and react with it. When we are surrendered the words flow as if they are our own except the Holy Spirit controls our words.

Let’s look at God’s plan for all of us. It is a plan for eternal life if we accept it. It is us excepting the ways of God shown through Jesus Christ and his word. What most people saw in Jesus at his time was a man who preached about his Father, God. They did not see Jesus at his time for who he really was as our Savior or the Passover lamb. Who Jesus was had to be taught, we have that opportunity now. We need to know who Jesus is and follow him. It is agreeing with God’s word and living that life down that narrow path because we love God. That unconditional love shown through Jesus Christ should be applied back to God and is what makes me overcome what is thrown at me by Satan. God’s word, the Bible, is where the words come alive, God’s words were lived through by Jesus Christ. Most people do not understand this about God’s word. God’s word is Spiritual and is not taught that way by most.

By us having the Holy Spirit, the words we speak become alive. They affect people, they change spirits in people. Hebrews 4:12 says “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” God’s word changes people, it cuts and opens up people spiritually to show our hearts to have God’s love bloom for change to happen.

It is God’s intent for his love to grow when it is planted with his word. Believers need to live that love every day and through that love, the people around see you as special to most people. People will see us as their hope which lives inside us as the Holy Spirit. You might understand who we really are now as the Holy Spirit in us is that two-edged sword, use it wisely. God Bless.
