How will Jesus Christ Judge Our Eternal Home—R Fritz

We have to understand who will be judging our eternal place. It is not anybody on the earth, it is Jesus Christ. John 5:22,24,28-30 says and this is Jesus, speaking “For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: Verily, Verily I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation, but is passed from death unto life. Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge and my judgment is just; because I seek not my own will, but the will of my Father which hath sent me.” You can see the two choices for judgments that will be handed down by the Son, Jesus to each person. Remember we have already made a choice and our actions will show that through Jesus looking at our hearts.

It is God’s love and us reciprocating that love back in obeying God through the Holy Spirit that shows what is in our hearts. It will not be somebody who thinks they know us that gets that honor as a judge. We then have no right to judge or control any person. It is Jesus who knows the context of every word in every situation we are in and our intent. Matthew 12:36-37 says, and this is Jesus, speaking “But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words, thou shalt be condemned.” Our words will be used for us, or our words will be used against us in judgment. Everybody that reads this now knows we can say what we want but there will be consequences for our words. That is what happens when we have freedom of speech.

Our actions will also show what is in our hearts also. We can have thoughts that are not righteous because Satan wants to escalate our thoughts, so we let our emotions take over and bring wrath on somebody. That is why we need to take our thoughts and slowly discern our thoughts so we do not do something we will be sorry for. Satan wants to confuse us, so he tries to bombard us with many thoughts at once, so we do not get a chance to accept the righteous thoughts or discard our unrighteous thoughts so all our thoughts blur together. That does not necessarily make us a bad person. It means we do not know how to deal with

what Satan has done to us. I had to learn first from my experiences, then the Holy Spirit showed me what was going on and gave me the wisdom to see what was happening. The ability to discern came as it was happening to slow down the words to divide the truth and the lies given by Satan. That is what Satan wants to do to people to get too many things going in our life, so we get overwhelmed. It is that one issue that breaks the camel’s back that concerns us. This is what Satan does, he uses our emotions and pushes them to our limit, and that works against us, and this is what stresses us out. Satan loves to stir the pot to get us riled up.

We are always trying to help people overcome the problems as they are uncovered. Sometimes we try to push the person we love too hard into doing what we think is right. If we push too hard, people feel that push and push back because it feels not right to them, like we are trying to control them. It is like we are smothering them. The thing I have learned is to pray about the situation and when the person asks the Holy Spirit, he will bring the answer to us to give to them. You have given them the answer they need and again we have to pray and trust God that he will do his part to change this person’s perspective. We must do what our part is in every situation and that is it. What we do not know is God might have brought somebody else to help change that situation, we might never find that out, and does not really matter. The results matter and we just give the glory and honor to God.

God’s will should be the most important thing we think about and should be in our prayers. To those that trust God, it is because we know God is always thinking about what is best for us. Matthew 6: 9-13 is called the Lord’s prayer, it is the example that Jesus used to show us how to pray. Jesus was praying to his Father in heaven. Matthew 6:10 says “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” These are Jesus’s words. Jesus is praying for God’s kingdom to come to earth. Jesus is also asking for God’s will to be done here as it is already in heaven. We are looking at what our will is and not what God’s will is. We need to trust God. I am not saying it is wrong to ask exactly as we think we need. Praying is our conversation with God. He wants so much for a conversation with us every day.

If we have that relationship with him through the Holy Spirit where we have that conversation and teaching moments, we will know his will. Sometimes we think

we know God’s will and act through the flesh with what we think is God’s will because we think it is right and it is what God would want us to do or say. Sometimes we think people need to hear our wisdom. Remember God through the Holy Spirit has all the answers and knows God’s will for each of us. We do not know what God wants for each of us because we are different. We need to let the Holy Spirit speak his wisdom through us using “Love” that starts to give each person the understanding to hear the words the Holy Spirit gives to us.

Love is the medicine or ointment that heals the hurt we have accumulated over the years. God’s love from the Holy Spirit changes our heart and that hurt. Sometimes that hurt that is hidden in us is not known and surfaces and comes out in words or actions. When we see that, it is time to pray. Every day is a new day that brings new revelations to our life. Matthew 7:1-2 says, and this is Jesus, speaking “Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete (dole out), it shall be measured to you again.” Be very careful what we say unless the Holy Spirit is speaking because it will come back to haunt us. Speaking with love is when the Holy Spirit speaks and changes our outcome. God Bless.
