When we see Somebody Who Needs Something we are Supposed to Help them—R Fritz

We see people who need things as we are driving around or going through life. Our obligation should be to ask if we can help anybody who appears to need help. We do not know if we do not ask. We also should ask the Holy Spirit what we should do. The Holy Spirit knows what is going on and knows what we should do for this person otherwise we are doing what we think should be done or doing nothing. James 2:14-17 says “What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he has faith, and have not works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister were naked, and destitute of daily food, and one of you say unto them, depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.” Faith requires us to do something; when people have needs, we can see we need to act knowing we need to do something, if not our faith is dead. We should ask the Holy Spirit if we are not sure what to do. Sometimes it is just common sense to do the right thing.

People need many different things. It is not just money, it is wisdom, love, friendship, time, help with a project or just to talk. We just need to ask for help or when we see a need to ask how to help. If people refuse our help that is ok. The Holy Spirit knows when we are needed and puts that in our heart which should get us to ask the Holy Spirit what we should do. It is how we should help, or the Holy Spirit has a certain way we need to help this person. The Holy Spirit puts people in our path for a reason. If we do not speak to the people, how do we know whether these people are to give us something or if we will give something to them? Answers come from us trusting God and that is by stepping out in faith. When we work with the Holy Spirit for a time, we get to know certain things. The thing we need to know is that the Holy Spirit does not always do the same thing for the same problem.

When God does something for us it is specifically for us because he knows us or our needs and what will change our heart or move us where we need to go mentally or spiritually. Proverbs 16:9 says, “A man’s heart deviseth (plans) his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.” We have plans and goals in life we do not know it, but God is moving us in the right direction. This is how God through the Holy Spirit shows us through God’s love how and why we need to change the issues from our past we might not know exist and how to overcome them. This is God’s winning formula that if we love God, we will obey him. This formula has changed people for thousands of years and still works for those who are looking or believe God’s message that God loves us, and we can do better and be a better person. That is the process that through the Holy Spirit and God’s word we can do anything and become that person God can use for his glory as well as be the person God wants us to be as well as living our life to the fullest. All of what we want becomes us when we follow Jesus with all our heart.

Choosing Jesus brings us to the truth and uncovers the lies Satan has told us we thought was truth. When we see a flaw or issue in ourselves that we believe needs addressing starts a process with Jesus where we need to ask why we feel a certain way or questioning things we see or do. This is that opportunity we get to change ourselves and that issue we do not like and deal with issues packed deep in our soul. I can speak about these issues because of my experiences dealing with the issues uncovered in my life. The answer and how God unpacked the lies told me by Satan, took the effects saw by me in anger but understanding why I felt that way came from the Holy Spirit and his understanding and wisdom. Our mind and subconscious are where we leave things we do not want to deal with and the place where bad things that happened to us remain until brought up. God knows us from the beginning. Jeremiah 1:4-5 says Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, “Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” These were words spoken to Jeremiah, but these words pertain to each one of us that he knows us and has a path for us.

Post traumatic stress can be the result of our past as well as present happenings. The answer comes when the timing is right for us, and we surrender ourselves where God can help bring people into our life to help. We need to look at how God helps us when we ask. We decide when our past is solved. We have battled our situations by ourselves for years believing we can do it; it requires God’s intervention, and we must see that, but it requires trust. Our trust is earned through things we see happen with men through our understanding. Proverbs 3:5-6 says “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto our own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”  God’s character is different than ours, it is flawless. We learn it when we give God a chance in our life. We believe it when we read or study God’s word and find out who he is. When we do not read or study the Bible, we must believe other people. It is personal when we study God’s character.

The biggest thing we need to understand is with God we can conquer anything. God uses people to give us a way that we see and can believe what he is doing. Everybody is different and God knows what it will take to help us. We must trust God and the people he sends. God has our back covered but we need to know him to believe that. Surrender our life and our issues, then we can be all we were meant to be. Be a person who God can use to help other people as we are living our life. Most times God uses me as I am living my life. We are God’s arms and legs. Let us be the light for God for people to see. God Bless.
