God Made Each of us Different for a Reason—R Fritz
We were all made in God’s image, but we are different. We do not look the same nor act the same nor are our likes and dislikes the same. God made us different for a reason. We are supposed to work together for God. What one person cannot do somebody else can step in because that is what they are good at. We have let differences in ideology get between us. We have not spent enough time to get our relationship with the Holy Spirit right. We are trying to treat the Holy Spirit as we do with other humans because that is all we know. This is God, we need to know and understand his ways. Isaiah 55:8-9 says “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” This is why we fail to understand God, his ways, his expectations or believing in him and just doing what he asks without hesitation. We do not know God and do not trust him because of our experiences with people in our life we could not trust. That is where the Bible comes in where we can find out who God is by studying about him. That is the only way to trust God is by studying what he stands for or what he has done in the past.
Each one of us has gifts, we just need to find out what they are. It is the spiritual gifts that are important to us, they are what change our life because the battles that are fought in heaven and the skies above us affect us and the people we love. 2 Corinthians 10;4-5 says “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalted itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; Our thoughts have to become God’s thoughts and commandments. We do not understand the spiritual battles with our prayers and how they have changed somebody else’s life. I have seen where our prayers have saved people’s lives. Too many people do not know how important our prayers are. I also have had people that asked me to pray for family members because they say that when I prayed their family member was healed or changed. What I want to tell people is that we need to keep praying for people and get to a point where our relationship with the Holy Spirit is changed where we believe our prayers are heard because we are going to keep praying till God answers us. The other point is sometimes a person answers our prayers or God uses us, if he uses us, we are going to hear the Holy Spirit because we are following his lead. That relationship gets us God’s attention and ear. It is not automatic because God decides what happens in all situations.
God is sovereign and what he says happens. God knows everything from the start of this world to the end. God created everything. Isaiah 46:9-11 says “Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.” If God spoke it, it will come to pass. There is none like him. If God tells us something, he will guarantee it happens. We can trust him because we know he is sovereign, and the Bible shows what God has said. We can read all the characteristics of God all we have to do is study the Bible.
Hope comes because God’s word says we can believe what he says. Jesus was the hope that we can live forever through him. Jesus says follow me to eventually follow him to God’s kingdom. God knows our life from birth to death. The Holy Spirit knows what it takes for us to obey or if we will obey. Hope should be what makes us able to overcome what Satan will throw at us. We make decisions, God decides the outcome of our decisions. God made us to be who he wants us to be. You might not know who we are to become. God has set my life in motion and knows who I will become. I let people know what the Holy Spirit shares with me. The Holy Spirit knows what we are supposed to become, it could be different that what I am being asked to do. We all have different missions to accomplish but unless we ask and do what is asked of us, we will never know the truth. When we get to heaven, we will be asked questions about our past, as to why we did not step out in faith. What will our answer be? Could it be I was afraid, or I did not feel like it.
Sometimes because somebody did not do their part other people are sent to accomplish God’s will because God is sovereign, it will happen. We are not all the same, thank God for that but we need to find out our differences and where do I fit in God’s plan. I talk about what God does for me, that is so everybody can see how he uses me, what I am asked to do, or how I speak to him. The thing is if he uses me, he can use anybody, I am not more special than anybody else. We need to be the person God meant for each one of us to be, God wants us to be ourselves not a clone of myself. That is why the Holy Spirit was sent to teach us what will make us that special person. We must strive to find out who we are, then ask the Holy Spirit what the next step is to get closer to the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit must be a part of every aspect of our life, we must ask the Holy Spirit into every aspect, then we will start seeing changes and hear from the Holy Spirit. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” We need to humble ourselves, turn away from sin, seek the Holy Spirit and God will forgive our sins, and move on with our life. It always comes down to us to change for the Holy Spirit. We will make that call, be you. God Bless.
