Has the Lack of Knowledge Affected our Lives—R Fritz
We do not know if we do not ask. Too many people want to go through life by themselves, on their own and with their knowledge only. This is a very poor decision and once we met Jesus and made a choice to follow him, we should have noticed we had somebody special from that time on. Something that would change our life forever. My hope is every person that reads this believes Jesus is special after reading this and understanding his facts because we should have wanted to change. I needed change but I did not understand how much I needed to change over the years since then. The things I went through and the things I was asked to do are amazing compared where I was before I met Jesus. I was backed up against the wall or what you call caught between a rock and a hard place. My choice I made was to come out swinging when I found Jesus, or I could have laid down and given up and who knows what would have happened to me. I guarantee it would not have been good for me, an unfulfilled life.
Our choices are just our choices, they can be changed again and again until we get it right. We need to be able to see through our spiritual eyes and hear the Holy Spirit tell us what we need to do. A wrong decision brings us with our relationship with the Holy Spirit to ask when we feel we might have made a wrong decision to be able to pivot to the right decision. The worst decision is to make a wrong decision because we do not want to admit we made a wrong decision. When we see things not going good in our life, it is time to ask the Holy Spirit or for us to look at what we are doing. Sometimes we are tested on our reaction to things that happen around us.
The thing we need to remember is we are not the same, our personality, our childhood experiences, our adult experiences, where we are in life as the Holy Spirit knows all what we are going through and knows what we need at the right time. We are not treated the same either because of our differences, our God given gifts or where we are in our knowledge of God. We might think we need something right now the Holy Spirit knows what is best for us. It is that belief we need things now that tends to sometimes give us the perception that God does not care, or God did not hear us. God loves us and will not leave us or forsake us. Hebrews 13:5 says “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, the Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” The Holy Spirit is with us, he might not speak to us but is there. The Holy Spirit speaks through our thoughts.
It is the realization that the Holy Spirit is part of us because our body is the temple for the Holy Spirit. Now that we know that we should treat our body differently as we would any temple because we have a special temple. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore, glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” The price being Jesus’s life for our sins, we should remember that price because we went from the law of sin and death to the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. That gave us a voice with God through the Holy Spirit because we are spiritual beings and that giving us to be sons of God. Romans 8:2-4,6,9,13-14 says “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man has not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” We must be spiritually minded, and the Holy Spirit must dwell in us to be one of God’s and if led by Spirit of God are the sons of God. This is truth and knowledge that if you do not have the Holy Spirit and do not walk after the Spirit you are none of his. This is not what I think, it is God’s truth.
Truth is that if you have not made that decision, you can make that decision at any time. Those living under the law of sin and death will die without eternal life. Eternal life is the spiritual life given by the Holy Spirit. It always gets down to our relationship with the Holy Spirit and our choices. Choices made with truth from God through the Holy Spirit. We must strive to be that spiritual person God wants us to be. Do not be fooled by Satan who is the counterfeiter, the world wants freedom from God. Read the truth that will set us free, true freedom is with God and the Holy Spirit. God Bless.
