God Gives us All the Tools to Succeed but We will not Accept Them—R Fritz

God does not want us to fail and when we are used for God’s kingdom, we need to follow his lead. When we need to ask the Holy Spirit if we are supposed to talk to somebody about something, I expect the words will be supplied by the Holy Spirit. People might ask why I would expect that because of the number of times God has sent me. I have felt I have failed because of what I saw after doing what the Holy Spirit told me. This is what we forget God is in control which means we will not fail. When we understand that, we learn more about God. Part of being used by God is speaking to the Holy Spirit about what I see and asking questions as a prayer such as “You sent me here to talk to this person and since you sent me I expect you will give me the words to speak to this person.” You think God is going to fail you, he sent you with a mission. It might mean we have to open our mouths to speak the words the Holy Spirit wants spoken, and remember the Holy Spirit lives in us. It is us asking the Holy Spirit for what we need where we are to finish our mission. James 4:2-3,5 says “Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. Do you think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.” God hears the humble and not the proud. We need to ask when we get in situations where we do not know what to do because the Spirit dwells in us. No matter where we go God is with us.

We do not need to go to a church to speak to the Holy Ghost, the temple is where the Holy Spirit resides in us. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” We cannot forget the price that was paid for our sins, Jesus’ death, but God sent something better, his Spirit, that could live in us and teach us through our mind, the thoughts that direct us. I am not telling us not to go to church, that can be another tool, I am telling us that the Holy Spirit is our teacher and was sent to fulfill us to be spiritual. The tool, the Holy Spirit, that was given to those who chose him. This tool changes our life if we accept it, let it become part of us, surrender our will and we become a tool that can change the rest of the world. The army of people was meant to show the world who Jesus was and who he is and would give us the ability for a spiritual relationship with God and our place for eternal life. We need to live this life getting to know Jesus and securing our place in heaven.

Sometimes we wonder why we do not hear the Holy Spirit, or we believe our prayers are not answered which can happen. If we are focused on God and our relationship as we go through life, we make peace-making decisions, not our peace God’s peace. Philippians 4:6-7,9 says “Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.” When we study Jesus what we have learned and received, which becomes part of us, our experiences which we have gone through, God’s peace is with us which is beyond our understanding. It requires us to ask which we forget or are focused on something else. It is us following Jesus doing the things he did but unless we read, or study how do we know what Jesus has done?

What do we do when we make mistakes or do something we should not have done, we repent which is admitting we have done something wrong and requires us to do better. That humbling decision gives us a way God hears our prayers because our prideful heart changes from us to God or others. Janes 4:6-7 says But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Pride brings God’s wrath upon us because we think we are most important, something I do not want to see or be a part of. God hates pride because Lucifer, an angel, wanted to be God and become known as Satan. Knowing what pride does to us and what it will cost us with God is something to find out. Here is where the Holy Spirit comes in because we will be shown what our heart looks like and the option of changing and humbling us, our hearts, and our attitudes. It gets us back to the God-first attitude because if that is our heart, pride will not show up and drive us.

God has given us tools for us to have a great life. Those tools are for each of us to make this life to overcome those that come against us. The tools are free when we choose Jesus, they also are taught and revealed through the Holy Spirit. We are too busy to receive our tools, only when we choose to push our relationship with the Holy Spirit to a new level will we see that. What must happen for us to see the truth? My biggest want from God is to take care of my family. We must do the work, accept God’s love, and obey his wants for us. We have what we want to do in life, God wants to add to that. Most of the things I do now in my life were not things I would have wanted to do at a different time in my life. God through the Holy Spirit provides us the tools for us to help our family and fulfill our destiny. Choose who we will be. God Bless.
