The Holy Spirit has our Backs Covered—R Fritz

We should know if the Holy Spirit lives inside of us, if we pay attention to what is going around us the Holy Spirit will let us know when people are taking advantage of us or doing something illegal to us. I was having a meeting when somebody showed me, they were charged six hundred ninety-nine dollars for a money account. There was a phone number to call to question this charge which was called. The next thing I heard was that this person from the number that was called and sent the bill was told by the person seated next to me to download an app from the app store. As soon as the download started, I said the words from the Holy Spirit “that this person on the phone was a scammer and to hang up the phone call immediately” to the person sitting by me. I told this person to find the correct phone number for this money processor to find out if a charge was sent to them. This person was told that there was no such charge. This is not the first time the Holy Spirit showed me what scammers were trying. When we see things that are not right our senses should be on alert, the Holy Spirit checks our spirit. That check in our spirit lets us know and, in some cases, we know what is going on immediately. That check is an internal alarm to say to be aware something is not right. It is something we need to understand and to be cautious and ready for anything. We need to ask the Holy Spirit to show us why we have that check and what our next move is not just to keep doing what we always done. 1 Corinthians 2:9-10,12 says “But as it is written Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered the heart of men, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.”  Some of the deep things of God are revealed when our spirit is in check.

Listening is an art where we need to pay attention to what is happening around us. What I tell people to do to get my attention is speak to me. I might not hear people because I am focused on what I am reading or studying. Listening to people requires both parties to pay attention, if not our goal for somebody to hear us will not happen. People speak sometimes without knowing if the other person heard everything that was said. My spirit hears the Holy Spirit because it is in me where the Holy Spirit speaks through our thoughts which is different than somebody who speaks to me. What is different between listening to people versus the Holy Spirit is I can hear the Holy Spirit even when people are talking to me which is especially special when the Holy Spirit is giving me questions to ask or answers to questions that are asked or reminds me of information given to me and able to be brought up at the most opportune time for God to use for his glory. We can have a relationship with the Holy Spirit greater than we have with men if we want with wisdom and understanding from God by asking. James 1:5-6 says “If any lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For him, that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord.” I am looking at this and wondering to myself why people do not ask for wisdom because I believe people do ask, the problem is faith which is us believing what God will do with what we ask for. It gets back to us and our prayer talk. My faith is higher than most because of the things I went through with God’s help because I trust God with my life. It took time to get there but things happened fast, giving me that trust.

Trust has always come from ourselves or the people around us for most of our life because we have gotten through life by ourselves and trusting who we believe gave us the best wisdom to overcome life with the knowledge we had we got through. What we do not understand is the Holy Spirit has what God has for us. Our purpose and plan for our life is prepared by God for us. We are not taught God has a purpose for us and all we must do is to ask “God” not man with all our heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13 says “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” When we are serious and search for Jesus with all our hearts things will change and our relationship with the Holy Spirit will change. Everything with God depends on us, which means we need to start to communicate with God through the Holy Spirit because we need God.

When things are calm and we are not paying attention to everything that is going on around us, the Holy Spirit has everything under control. That is when things are going on that we do not see the Holy Spirit knows what we do not see, ready when we begin to know what to deal with. The Holy Spirit knows what is going to happen before it happens and knows us with the outcome already known in the Spirit. Surrender our will, and let the Holy Spirit show us the way because the Holy Spirit has us covered. God Bless.
