When Somebody is in a Spiritual battle, we Give Them our Help—R Fritz

When we see somebody struggling, we need to show them how the Holy Spirit gives us the tools to defeat Satan. There are things we have learned through the battles we went through to give somebody the wisdom we were given. It is time for us to release our knowledge as these people do not have the ability as they are new to Jesus and are bombarded with little experience handling a spiritual battle. I have been in spiritual battles many times over the last twenty years. When I needed the knowledge to fight in the spirit when I first chose Jesus there was no one to help me. People told me I needed to fight in the spirit as nobody could show me how to do that. That was until the Holy Spirit told me he would teach me, and the rest is history. John 14:26-27 says “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” These verses speak of who the Holy Ghost is as well as what the Holy Ghost gives us.

The Holy Spirit told me he would teach me all things. I trusted the Holy Spirit and followed and believed what I was told. It also required me to change for the Holy Spirit to use me. It was a decision with somebody to hold me accountable so I could move forward faster. The time frame was to get me to a place where I could hear the Holy Spirit and trust what he told me. The easiest way to trust the Holy Spirit is to see the results that we see after we do as we are asked to do. I still see things that amaze me as God will be God and all we must do is be where we are supposed to be as God will do the rest. Deuteronomy 31:8 says, “And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.”  We know the LORD will go before us and be with us, we need to believe in God’s plan. I went to a conference this week where God had a plan.

Somebody asked me to talk to somebody about spiritual warfare because they were struggling with Satan speaking lies. The biggest lie was what Satan said about me. That is why at first this person did not want to speak to me. When somebody took me to talk to this person struggling, they told me that Satan was bombarding them with words. When I heard this person’s story, I started to give them Bible verses that would stop Satan’s lies. They asked if I saw any spirits on them. I told them I would give them anointing oil and went to my car to get it. When I got back less than ten minutes later, they were gone but said they would be back. I waited an hour, and this person walked by and said they would be back in a few minutes only waiting longer, and they were gone. God had shown me how a couple (husband and wife) would deal with this person. I thought after this person left that that would be the end of this story. The Holy Spirit would not let me forget about the battle this person is in. I just got a phone call that this person texted the wife of the couple. The wife has no idea how this person got their phone number so the couple will keep in touch with this person. I participate in many spiritual battles where prayers are the way I help the situation, there are other ways such as speaking things into their life. We need to know who the enemy is. It is not the person (flesh and blood) it is the spirit they possess. Ephesians 6:12-13 says “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all stand.” These two verses were the first verses the Holy Spirit showed me. They were the most important verses at the time for me. You ask why? It was because the situation I was to deal with needed me to show love no matter what was said or done. I needed to know the battle was spiritual and not take it personally. I must remember that because when I take the battle personally, I lose.

We need to understand our enemy Satan and what he wants for us. Satan is the great counterfeiter whose goal is to take us with him to hell. Satan wants us to think we are hearing from God when we are hearing Satan. Satan knows the Bible very well. What I found is Satan wants to twist what the Bible says, or he changes the words to his liking. I saw this happen to me many times as the Holy Spirit would give me the real words or would let me see the words were a lie. Satan also knows what his sentence is for disobeying God. Pride was what took Lucifer down whose name changed when he tried to be higher than God to Satan whose name means adversary. John 10:10 says and this is Jesus speaking “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.”  The devil, Satan is the thief who wants to steal. kill, and destroy us, remember that when we hear our thoughts and want to follow them.

God teaches us to love our neighbor as ourselves, one of the greatest commandments. John 15:12-14 says this is Jesus speaking “This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.” My question to everybody is “Are we ready to lay down our life for somebody else who needs help no matter what they need with God’s help.” Think about that because that will show us if God’s love is in our hearts. God Bless.
