Our Choices each Day Dictate our Lives where Gods Answers Happen Realtime—R Fritz

We make all kinds of choices when we wake up in the morning. The first one is to get up, go to work, stay home or in my case it is think about what God has for me, that is my choice every morning and when I worked the Holy Spirit would speak to me through thoughts when I was awake even when my eyes were not open. Then I would pray at two-thirty in the morning for forty-five minutes and leave at three-thirty to get to work at four o’clock. I did pay the price, but I guarantee it was worth it, that was my choice. I gave God my best time where I was awake and not falling asleep at night. Matthew 6:33 says and this is Jesus speaking “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Seeking God every morning was a choice that made my day with blessings for me as well as other people. When I got to work, I had a job to do plus what God wanted me to do where doing my job could at the same time do what God had for me. It was praying for people at work in the spirit as I was walking. There was nobody that knew what I was doing except the Holy Spirit, so nobody could stop me either. There is no reason that we could not do the same. I saw more spiritual things happening than most churches. That was my choice to obey what I was supposed to do.

We have many choices during our day as we look at God, our family and job where we choose what we do remembering God comes first where God can change or bless our family and job. We forget the order until things do not work out. Every day is an opportunity to choose to change what we have done to something pleasing to God. What happens is Satan wants us to get us to think about ourselves and the issues we have where our feelings are hurt to get us to forget God and fighting in the spirit. I know that because I battle through the same issues and fail sometimes but the next day come out fighting in the spirit. That is why we regroup to figure out what went wrong then move on. We have control of our thoughts, so we need to get a grasp on what thoughts are from Satan, discard them and move on with what are from the Holy Spirit. We must get rid of the unrighteous thoughts, or they will come out of our mouth, this is what happened to me. Philippians 4:7-9 says “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. These things which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.”  It is God’s peace that keeps our hearts and minds in line with Jesus with a list of things to think about because these are things of God.

Everything we think about or do starts with a choice. The good thing is choices to change can happen at any time and if that choice does not work out, we can change again, that is not normal to change that much because most people hate to change as we should be communicating with the Holy Spirit to begin with. People wonder if when we get a revelation whether we should automatically start doing it. I learned a few years ago to push the idea or what I believe is what the Holy Spirit wants me to do by starting to move in the direction to see what pushback I get and where that pushback comes from. If God really wants us to do something he will let us know as we step out in faith in saying something or giving us tools or people to accomplish what he has asked us. That also goes from pushback from Satan when he wants to stop us. Too many people believe faith and belief are thoughts, they are words that show our belief or faith in action. In other words, our actions show our faith. Faith without works is dead. James 2:18,20-22,24,26 says “Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.”  We might ask what faith has to do with choices, answer everything.

When the Holy Spirit gives us something (thought or action) and we either discard it or refuse to ask God what is needed and not step out in faith, that shows our faith. 1 John 5:14-15 says, “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.”  The answers come, but we refuse to accept them because they require us to do something. Our answer could be to help somebody, and they have our answer, but we choose not to do what is the least required and do not receive that answer. We are looking for the answer spoken to us exactly requiring doing nothing. Let me say answers come in all unusual ways. My answers come mostly thoughts, on billboards, back of vehicles, in a gold mine on a post, somebody holds up a sign, other people. How many of these came sitting on the couch, I had to say that to get our attention. My point is if you are looking for an answer it requires us to look. I have told this story a few times and all I am going to say is the words “Jesus Saves” poster was shown to me on a vacation in a different state at different places about five times as God was speaking to me.

We must trust God believing to walk out in faith, then to start doing what we need to move slowly until we know God is involved. These are our choices where if we understand faith and works God’s answers will come. God Bless.
