With God, Timing is Everything—R Fritz

God is in control in everything that happens, he can change the result, the problem starts with us what we do and the words we speak. We wonder why things go out of control or are not beneficial for us. One thing I learned was to take a long hard look at what I have done or what I am doing. We can blame somebody else for what happens as we are responsible for our own results. Sometimes it takes us to fail to come from the ashes to gain the confidence back to win. We must learn we cannot do it ourselves and we need Jesus with his wisdom and foresight to win our battles because they are spiritual. We also must learn that we have an adversary called Satan who is real and has affected our life where we had believed in luck or expertise without giving God credit. We do not understand what gives us results and why we have issues. We miss the details and go by what has given good results in the past. We are just getting by with little chance to see the truth. What we do not see is the truth of the gospel and Satan has blinded us. 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 says, “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” The god of this world Satan has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, so they do not know the truth.

Truth is why we chose Jesus. Satan had us where he wanted us and still tries to manipulate us to do the wrong thing in our life. We were and still hear Satan but now we have the Holy Spirit to listen to and choose to control our life. Satan uses fear to manipulate us; it is what stops or controls us to do what we need to do even when the Holy Spirit lives in us. Fear is believing our thoughts and our eyes where with our thoughts we think about what could happen so much that we start to believe it will happen which stops us from doing or even moving forward. Sometimes fear stops us from leaving our home. It is a spirit which also has a feeling associated with it. Fear dictated things in my life for fifty years and I overcame it. It manipulates us in many ways as it can manipulate our sight as far as the fear of heights then manipulates our thoughts as we think we are going to fall. My goal was to walk to the top of a mountain as I got to twelve thousand five hundred feet out of over fourteen thousand feet I was going, I looked out and the terrain changed to extremely steep. I heard Satan say, “you are not going up or going down.” I said, “shut up Satan” After I said that the terrain changed back to what it really looked like and I kept going to the top. Satan uses our senses and feelings for manipulating us with our thoughts to match. We now know the truth as I know the spirit of fear very well. 1John 4:16,18 says “And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.”  Fear does have torment, when fear shows that torment (feeling) also shows up signifying the spirit of fear is present. I had that feeling for years not knowing what it was then the Holy Spirit revealed the truth to me at a particular time. The answer is in God, who is love and if we have the Holy Spirit we have his love, a different kind of love where we can defeat the spirit of fear. Fear defeats people because it is a lie most people do not see, Satan’s tool where people do not know their enemy. I studied fear how to defeat it as it controlled me for fifty years where the Bible had the answer as I personally confronted my fears until the Holy Spirit gave me the truth from the Bible to win and stop fear immediately. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 says “(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into  captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”  These verses stop fear immediately as every thought that comes against the knowledge of God must come into obedience of Jesus immediately. For me when I got the two verses from the Holy Spirit that changed everything how I saw things as truth overcome lies from Satan. Receiving those verses were not on my timeframe, they were on God’s timing. The battle against fear does not mean it is over as it still comes at me; I just know how to deal with it.

God’s timing is not necessarily our timing. He has a plan for each of us, we must follow that plan by following the Holy Spirit, our teacher, as we go through life with trust. We also have the right to ask questions; we do not have the right to question God’s authority there is a difference where people confuse the two. There are questions I ask myself as well as think about as we live life never to forget our story of change. What was the timing of our change to believe in Jesus? Why did we choose Jesus when we did? Are we doing what we said we would do when we chose Jesus? Did we mean what we said with our actions? These are the questions and what are the answers. These are the questions we should ask ourselves to remember Jesus and why we need him. There are also things that happen at a particular time and are also when we think about them and can change what we do at a particular time. God knows us and things happen for a reason; we might not like them but if we listen and obey the Holy Spirit we will be blessed. God Bless.
