How Far would we go to Get the Answer to our Prayer—R Fritz

We are looking for the answer to our prayer, sometimes it is a person that has the answer we are looking for. Your answer might be something you did not know was in the hands of somebody waiting on us to pick it up. I knew one of two people would have the answer I had been waiting for. It was driving about a hundred miles to pick up the answer and drive back. How many of us would be willing to do that? I do not know about anybody else, but I would go a lot farther for my answer. Our prayers should be important, the easy ones we may not want to, some answers come from the Holy Spirit, other times my answers come from other people. This answer was a complicated answer with three distinct parts. Most people do not know that some of our answers were given to people who are supposed to give to us. I hope that if you are one of those people with an answer, we would expect us to give that answer to whoever needs that. I have had answers from people, in most cases I gave answers in person. The answer I was looking for I knew was coming because the Holy Spirit told me. I have seen people afraid to give messages and wait because they feel the person would not like the answer. It is not our job to think about how somebody else is going to feel, our job is just to give the message. People are waiting for their answer not knowing somebody is sitting on it. Jeremiah 1:9 says “Then the LORD put forth his hand and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.” Remember The LORD touched Jeremiah, now the Holy Spirit lives inside us and gives us the words to speak so our spirit will speak to them if we surrender.

I am asked to do that, and the words just come out where I know that these words are not from me but from God. This is where we decide what we want to do as we can surrender and be God’s messenger or do nothing. God has a plan for each one of us and it is not to do nothing. Micah 6:8 says “He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? God knows our heart and where we fit in, we need to ask God through the Holy Spirit what he wants us to do. If we have not had the Holy Spirit speak to us, we can ask for what he wants us to do, he will answer us in some way, through our thoughts, from somebody or through our experiences. I have answers in all these ways. I have looked around me when I am sitting still to see if God has an answer for me. We are in too big of a hurry where we do not take time even if it is a few minutes at a time. I am as busy as anybody, but I take time to think about what is going on in my life. The battles we get into just living our life whether it be physical, mental or our experiences have a direct influence on our life, how we live our life or if our life or issues are controlling us.

We do not get to live an easy life because of who we know and are aligned with, that being Jesus. John 15:18-20 says, and this is Jesus’ speaking “If the world hates you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love its own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, the servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.” Some people want everybody to be in the same situation and to be just like them. Being different and being able to overcome the issues the world is going through or being happy going through issues should make the world ask questions, but some people are set on doing what they have always done but do not want us to succeed.

These people choose their life and choose the world and what they do. Those that choose Jesus have hope and the love from Jesus which if they stay in the world will never have. The Bible speaks of our life through the twelve disciples and the people who followed them. We must believe in ourselves, that is how we learn to trust the Holy Spirit. How I gained confidence was to study the Bible with the Holy Spirit being the teacher. We might ask the question how do I do that? It is as easy as asking the Holy Spirit to teach us. Do people think I am more special than they are, I think not. I chose to study and write the words given to me. The words are the ones that come as I am speaking to someone. The words come because the Holy Spirit needs to get involved in the conversation through us. Matthew 10:19-20 says “But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.”  Knowing what to say goes back for me to when I needed to know what I was supposed to speak before I would go to where the Holy Spirit needed me to go. The Holy Spirit knows how to change our outlook. It was where the Holy Spirit gave me a message but took it back when I was supposed to give the message to somebody, I said to that person that “I lost the message, give me a minute God will give it back to me” and started to pray right in front of this person and the message came back to me to give within a few seconds.

We must look at our inner self and see if it lines up with Jesus. Does love show through us, it should because that comes from the Holy Spirit. We must let the Holy Spirit shape us into who God meant for us to be. Give the Holy Spirit all our Spirit. God Bless.
