We are All Important in God’s Eyes—R Fritz

God wants all of us to choose him and he wants us to make that decision with our free will. When we choose Jesus, we agree to obey him because we gave our life to him. Over time we forgot what we had said because we have slowly backed away from what I will say was our happiness in finding Jesus. Things have changed and our life has become harder and harder. We should have gotten closer and closer to Jesus through the Holy Spirit. What we have done is we have given up on Jesus, our hope to change our life. What we might not understand is if God is the leader of our life, have we changed or listened for the Holy Spirit to help us? We should hang on to Jesus and the Holy Spirit and never give up. God will not forsake us, he stays with us, we have not asked the questions to get the answers we were looking for. Deuteronomy 31:6,8 says “Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.” The LORD will go before us and will not fail thee or forsake us, these are words we can count on because the LORD says he will only speak the truth.

Our prayer language should not be different as it should be the same words we speak to every person. God is not looking for other words, but he is looking for a conversation with us. Special words are not required for our prayers or when we have a conversation with God. We can ask any question and there are no dumb questions as they are the questions we do not ask. We need to become one with the Holy Spirit and then when we ask the right questions about ourselves to make us more like Jesus, they will be answered. What is our expectation after we make the most important decision in our life? It should be changed because doing the same thing was not what we were looking for and it was not about somebody else changing. We needed to trust somebody, the somebody being God and with us can do the impossible.

God knows who we could become, and he also knows who we will become. We should strive to be that person who wants to do everything God has planned for us. I talked to somebody this week and wanted to remind them that however small our part is for Jesus it is still important. Sometimes it is just giving somebody something that makes them feel worthy of God’s love. When I first chose Jesus, my job was just to pray for the people who were doing the bigger jobs God had. I accepted my small part because I knew when the time was right, I would have a bigger job. It happened a short time later as I will never forget how important my small part was because if I did not pray for these people they would not succeed in their bigger part. God must trust that we will do what we are told to do because if we cannot do our small part God will not trust us with something bigger. Romans 8:27-28 says “And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, who are called according to his purpose.”

Do we know what plan or purpose God has for us? If not, it is time we asked or found out. We should know the Holy Spirit’s voice as we ask questions because his sheep hear and know his voice. It is time to spend time with the Holy Spirit, so we know his voice especially when we are in battle or prayer when somebody’s life or physical wellbeing we are dealing with.  John 10:3-5 says, and this is Jesus speaking “To him the porter (doorkeeper) openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when he putteth forth his sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.” It is important we know who is speaking to us because Satan can fool us as an angel of light.

Satan will fool us into thinking we are serving God when we are serving man. 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 says “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into the angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” We need to decide if we are only going to call on God when we truly need him or have that relationship where we hear him all the time. God is looking for those willing to be part of God’s army. We will not be drafted into God’s army, it is a decision, one only we will make when we choose Jesus and one where our actions prove who we are.

God can use whoever he wants to be his mouthpiece; he even used a donkey to speak. God is waiting for us to step forward and say, “Use me for whatever mission you need me for.” That is what I did years back; our lives will never be the same. I say that in a positive way because we can choose to do nothing going through life or we can add some excitement with the Holy Spirit taking care of us as we do what we were destined to do, our choice. God Bless.
