Do we Forsake the Meeting of People and the Holy Spirit? –R Fritz

The thing most people do not know is to forsake (abandon or quit) what we should be doing by getting together. When we are together, we can get what others have studied and the Holy Spirit lives in us so other people can add to our knowledge. The best and easiest is not to forsake us from the Holy Spirit where we should never forsake our relationship because that is our ticket to God’s kingdom. Hebrews 10:24-25 says, “And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” We have a reason to get around other people because we have an opportunity to be a leader where we know the truth and can teach that to other people. We get to become who we are meant to be, that is something we should be looking forward to. We should be giving people our love by picking people up by our words then with our actions. There are many people who are going through many different issues and need to hear our kind words.

It is time for each of us to have a meeting with the Holy Spirit. God is waiting for us to first let our prayers be known then become friends then family where we treat the Holy Spirit as a part of us which is what it is. It should become a big part of us. It is what God sent after Jesus took our penalty for sin. God wanted us not to fail and become the righteous person which we cannot do by ourselves. It is time for each of us to accept and surrender to the Holy Spirit. We will choose who we will become if without the Holy Spirit we are doing life on our own and reading and following Jesus with our understanding. God’s understanding comes from above and is given by him through the Holy Spirit. Isaiah 11:2-4 says “And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: The LORD shall not judge with human ways it will be spiritually.

Spiritually is how we are to become. The Bible is spiritually discerned.1 Corinthians 2:10-14 says “But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can we know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”  We are blessed if we embrace what the Holy Ghost says about our spiritual life. What most people do not understand is the Holy Spirit speaks through our thoughts. We must decide if our thoughts are from God or Satan and that is where our relationship and knowledge about the Holy Spirit gives us the ability to make the right decision.

We are responsible for every part of our life, those that know the Holy Spirit have everything we need to change our life if we choose to. It is time for each of us to look at ourselves, what we do and if we are following Jesus and are giving our spare time or obeying what is required by praying without ceasing to find out God’s plan so we will get started down our path. 1Thessalonians 5:16 says “Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” I have a path with marching orders which leads me down that path where the Holy Spirit leads me each and every day. Some days I believe I do nothing or rest, which gives me the ability to perform when I am required to do many things or talk to different people. We must learn to keep the Holy Spirit which lives inside us where we have the ability through our thoughts at any time to get close. We decide our fate because of what we do or do not do. It gets back to us getting around people smarter than us and to ask God to bring these people to us. We need to ask otherwise things do not happen. Do we think God is going to give us somebody that is not smart, I think not.

Some people are afraid to ask God for what we need. That is what prayers are for, yet people do not spend the time to speak to God. Prayers are what we should excel in. It is where we can ask the Holy Spirit about the most important needs for our closest friends and family. It gives us the opportunity to ask to heal somebody or ask for help in every situation. What would we do to help our family or friends? I can tell us what I will do, no matter who I am going to pray for as long as I need to as God will lead me for how long it will take. It depends on us to step out in faith. Prayer was given for us to speak to God or the Holy Spirit with the ability to pray at any time to help anybody in need. We just need to move our lips and practice through doing it, we can change many lives. God Bless.
