God has the Whole World in His Hands—R Fritz

This is the title I got from the Holy Spirit to write about. I started to look up the song “He’s got the Whole World in his Hands” and found there was not a known author for this song. This song must be God inspired and words given to somebody to put on paper and handed down. God has his hand in everything going on, whether we believe that or not. We change the course of our life when we listen and obey. Things happen for a reason we have a God of order. 1 Corinthians 14:33,40 says “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. Let all things be done decently and in order.” When we see confusion, God is not part of it. God always has order, especially in the churches. When we do not follow the Bible or the Holy Spirit, Satan wants to put disorder in our lives. We should be looking at what is going on in our life or what we see happening around us.

We need to ask ourselves when we see things going on is it God testing me or is Satan attacking me or a combination. We need to look at ourselves and ask the question “Am I going down the wrong road or am I following somebody that is   unrighteous and not holy and does not know the narrow road I should be on.” What I have found when I start asking questions of myself is sometimes my answer I hear comes from the Holy Spirit, which has happened a few times. It is different when we are specifically asking God for something. We would expect an answer when we are in prayer. I was driving down the road thinking about something when I got an answer. I was not expecting an answer to my thoughts, it surprised me. That is what God does, he does not follow a certain plan or does things by his wisdom at a time when he knows is perfect timing. God knows when we need a healing word, a healing touch, or words we need to speak. Luke 12:11-12 says, “And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say: For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.” Too many people depend on themselves on what we are to say to people. The Holy Spirit has all the answers, yet we do not ask, or we have not surrendered our will, so the Holy Spirit is in control of our words or actions.

When we have surrendered our words come out from the Holy Spirit and sometimes, we see that the words that come out are not what we would say but we know they are from the Holy Spirit. I have seen this happen after I surrendered my feelings. We can say we have surrendered all but what I have seen is the Holy Spirit will show us what we have not surrendered. It seems like because I write about things I see, things that happened to me or people around me is why I see more things happen, so I have things to write about. When the Holy Spirit shows us an issue or something in our life that we need to change, or the Holy Spirit has a way to make our life easier we need to agree to surrender that issue or work with the Holy Spirit for our answer. Philippians 2:12-15 says “Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;” We need to work out our own salvation with our actions and stand out among the world as lights for Jesus. Our actions show who we are even when no person can see us because God sees all things, we cannot hide anything from God.

This universe is in God’s control, he is sovereign. It is God’s truth that matters, what we see, our thoughts, our opinion are not God’s truth it is what we believe. The Holy Spirit is what makes sense out of God’s truth and was sent to teach us all things to change our thoughts and desires. The Holy Spirit gives us the words that need to be said, sends people to speak to us, sometimes the words spoken to us change our behavior. We do not understand who God sends because we believe that is part of life then we believe God does not answer our prayers. We do not know how God, or the Holy Spirit gives us what we need. I have had the opportunity to see many things that I see as God putting his hand on people and their situations. We do not see or know what God does for us. I saw that a person had called me, and I called them back to find out they did not call me but I wanted to talk to them about something I was working on, it was something that this person did not have to do because I had already done it. I did not know what they were going to do. I could talk about other things that I saw that changed peoples lives that God had his hand in, yet we do not know this. John 16:12-15 says, and this is Jesus, speaking “I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak, and he will show you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine and shall shew it unto you. All things that the father hath are mine: therefore, said I, that he shall take of mine and shall shew it unto you.” The Holy Spirit or the Spirit of truth was sent after Jesus left and was supposed to guide us and show us things to come.

God has the entire world in his hands, he also has our life in his hands. We need to spiritually have a connection with the Holy Spirit. He wants that, we need to want that. Prayers are where we get started, studying who God is moves us closer to God. My prayer is that God has our life in his hands, and we can see signs of that. God Bless.
