It is Time to Understand God is in Control—R Fritz
When will we believe God has our best interest at heart? We only look at what we can see without looking at the whole picture at all angles. That is looking at things from outside the box. When we look outside the box, we look differently at things, unlike most people who make assumptions instead of letting the Holy Spirit direct our path. It is taking control of situations when God is already in control, not knowing our purpose, and forging ahead. Because we are not in step with the Holy Spirit, we are going in a different direction counting on ourselves for our wisdom. That is a bad place to be in. 1 Corinthians 2:12-15 says “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; freely given to us of God. We also speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he is spiritually judged by all things, yet he is judged by no man. For whom hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.” Those who are spiritual have the mind of Christ and spiritually discern what is going on around them.
Discernment comes from God with the word of God being able to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart as our heart is where the Holy Spirit resides. It is important with the Holy Spirit being our wisdom and the voice of truth. The Holy Spirit gives us the ability to see God’s truth and the ability to cut through what man considers truth which can be from a lie with a little bit of truth. I have seen people who have believed that lie with a little bit of truth because they believed in themselves and did not have discernment or the Holy Spirit, men of the world. Discernment was not given to everybody. Discernment is the spiritual ability to divide good and evil, truth and lies and what is best to what is good. This only comes from the Holy Spirit where the word of God is powerful. Hebrews 4:12 says “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart.” God’s word opens us up, so we are seen for who we are, there is no hiding anything from God. Our feelings, mental or physical wounds that affect us God sees with the answer to fix us. The answer is waiting for us to ask God how.
We choose our path where at any point can change that path to believe in Jesus and the Holy Spirit and the only way to find the truth and our purpose. Change and trust must come in our life where we learn about Jesus and his ways. We choose not to trust Jesus because we do not know or see him, yet when somebody we just met who we can see we can believe them immediately. If we took the time to investigate Jesus by going into the Bible and using a search engine to search who Jesus is and what he did for us it is easy to investigate. That is how Bible verses and the Holy Spirit gives me words or phrases to investigate and what to write. The Holy Spirit is teaching me as I learn and write then remember these things when I talk to people. The Holy Spirit was sent to teach us all things. John 14:26-27 says, and this is Jesus speaking “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” Jesus says the Father will send the Holy Ghost and teach us all things plus give us Jesus’s peace not the world’s peace. This is exactly as the Holy Ghost does for me and anybody who is serious about Jesus to investigate who he is because once we want to start to believe the Holy Spirit will show us who he is. God’s peace is what the Holy Spirit brings to our life where things around us are out of control the turmoil does not affect us.
There is only one that can be in control, we make that choice every day. We are either with God or against God there is nothing in between, either yes or no with no answer being a no. Somehow, we think that just because we say nothing there is no answer. Let us look at this a different way, if somebody tries to sell us something and we walk away that is not a yes is automatically a no same with God. Control and freewill are choices given to us, if we want to decide to be without God that is our right, but do not expect God to honor our prayers. It is when we become humble after getting beat up living in the world that we decide to give our life to God. That is just the start because situations come again where we need to trust God. When we trust God, in all the situations we get into is where our prayers are answered. It is giving that person or situation to God to deal with. I have gotten to that place where I trust God with my life as well as the people around me, we might ask why I have done that? That is because that is the right decision where I have no control over other people or situations with no other winning option where the right thing will be done. It is the battle in the spirit that is the winning option through prayer where our words have power through the Holy Spirit. It is the understanding that some of the things we do are for God through the Holy Spirit. Isaiah 55:11 says, “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void (empty), but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” If we have the Holy Spirit, the words that are sent out for somebody or their situation will accomplish what God wants them to be.
This week I had somebody ask me about what I saw after meeting with an old friend. The question was what they saw and my interpretation. The answer what I saw in the flesh was the same as this person except I looked at what God was doing which is what this person could not see and told this person why we went which was for God’s glory where we were sent where God is in control not knowing all the answers. We have a choice to trust God or trust ourselves, our answer will affect our prayer life. God Bless.
