Without Love we Will not Respect People—R Fritz
I see people that choose not to give respect to other people. We can disagree with people but that does not necessarily mean we need to treat them poorly. What most people do not understand is we are all in different places as far as knowledge. I have learned that and see that which gives me understanding why people do not see what I see. It is a matter of seeing what people know and not judging them because they do not know what I know. That is getting more understanding by asking God. Proverbs 3:5-6 says “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” We need the Holy Spirit to be the leader in our lives and to follow exactly as the Holy Spirit commands us. We need to keep pressing forward with the Holy Spirit being our conscience and our spiritual advisor. We are all different with different amounts of wisdom and understanding. This is why I have learned not to argue with anybody on things the Holy Spirit gives me where sometimes God’s truth is just for me other times the information is shared where people do not understand yet what is truth. My job was to give the information and then God’s job is to give understanding when it is the right time. It is that understanding knowing our difference in God’s wisdom where we should be ok with people having different knowledge.
I tell people they need to pray or look for truth in the Bible because when we diligently seek him, we will find what we are looking for because this is not a theory I thought of it is what I do and how I have found more information because of my determination. Hebrews 11:6 says, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” It comes down to us and our belief level with our belief level shown by what we do or our action or our inaction. That proves our faith with God. Belief is not just a thought it requires action where God sees our heart and who we are. There is no hiding from God especially those who have the Holy Spirit where God’s Spirit lives in us.
We might ask what does faith or belief have to do with respect? We must go back to our life before we chose Jesus verses after we chose Jesus. What was our attitude before Jesus verses after where we have hope now and our heart was changed with the love that we received through the Holy Spirit. The world does not have God’s love that lives in us and the ability to understand what respect is. I see the lack of respect a lot. In my whole life I felt respected only when I decided to start a chaplaincy program and a chaplain at the company I worked for. It was what God was doing at the plant because God was, who was changing the people and giving me people who he wanted to be chaplains also. I take credit only for obeying God, the rest was praying for the right people and the people that needed help to trust us. If we are focused on what is going on around us, we will see that the Holy Spirit is in the process of doing something and waiting for help. It is always about the Holy Spirit speaking through us. I have seen many things said by me that are not my words like when I write this blog or where the words are downloaded to me to speak. 1Corinthians 6:19-20 says “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” We have given God the right through the Holy Ghost to be part of us that is why if we surrender our will God oversees us and we can overcome our past issues as well as the issues that come up in the present and our future. The Holy Spirit is not to control us, it is to help us and to teach us the things of God from our life as we were doing what we think with our wisdom what was best for us. When we learn who God is, we can trust the things that were not part of us, that are part of God. God does not force his will on us, we were given freewill because God wanted us to choose him because we made the decision because we wanted to.
If we do not respect God or obey him, how could we have his love or do we not have the Holy Spirit? Why did we choose Jesus? These are questions we need to ask ourselves because our actions speak of who we are. Words are spoken all the time; we should hear what people say. God’s love is the reason anything is possible, it is the hope we need to fight the good fight. 1 Timothy 11-12 says “But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love. patience, meekness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Without God’s hope we are brought back to before we met and chose Jesus. We are given the tools we need to become what we have always wanted to be except now we can be more than that because God knows who each of us can become. We just need to ask the Holy Spirit and be ready for the answer then ready and willing to apply ourselves. That will be what changes our life forever. It is our choice if we will love those around us and give the respect, we all deserve. God Bless.
