Is Humility, Obedience, and Love the Key to our relationship with God?—R Fritz

If you want to have that relationship where the Holy Spirit speaks and teaches you, reminds you of appointments, tells you when you should not do things or when it is the right time to do things it should be the time to think about changing for you. This is the recipe for you to win. What are you willing to do to get that relationship is the question? It is you who makes that decision. The growth of your relationship is truly in your hands and on you how fast you can be a positive influence for Jesus Christ and have confidence because you are studying God’s word. It is your will to start, it then requires you to surrender your will to the Holy Spirit. Trust starts at that point and issues will pop up, that is when you need more trust because this is where things happen and where you start to really have that back and forth with the Holy Spirit. This is when you grow and you are in control of your changes with the Holy Spirit giving you the strength and wisdom to keep living your life for Jesus. It is when you are weak, that the Holy Spirit makes you strong.

You are thinking where did I get this about the recipe to win. This is my story and what the Holy Spirit does for me. It is the little things that happen at different times in the day. This website or this being posted is the only place I write or speak about the details of how I am being blessed and how to get to a blessed place with the Holy Spirit. When this blog was started and I had to study and find the verses to go with my experiences and the knowledge downloaded to me from the Holy Spirit to write elevated me into a position to learn from that downloading. It gives me confidence because God’s truth and wisdom come and my understanding was raised.

Humility is seeing ourselves the way we actually are. If we follow God and study his nature the Holy Spirit will teach us humility or humbleness. When we truly learn and apply humility in our life we become like God. Jesus Christ came to earth to show us humility in everything he did. It is treating people the way you expect to be treated. 1 Peter 5:5-7 says “Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your cares upon him; for he careth for you.” God applies grace to the humble and we can give our care to him because he cares for us. Let me give you another verse in Proverbs22:4 which says “By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honor, and life.” Humility and the fear of the Lord gives you God’s rich blessings. This is what I am trying to show you about humility and applying it will change your relationship with Jesus Christ.

Satan comes along and whispers in our ear telling us we are better than the next person, he will even tell us why we are better than them and we believe Satan. This is the pride that comes from Satan.

Obedience comes from the love of God. It is loving God so much you will overcome the things holding you back from obeying whether it be fear or your lack of faith. The answer is the surrender of your will. We cannot or will not obey until we trust God, that takes time. It could take the rest of your life if we do not study and find out who God is, his nature and why Jesus Christ came to earth. We have to trust God through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is who was sent after Jesus died to teach us all things. This is the difference-maker for us. 1 John 2:3-5 says “And hereby we do know that we know him if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth, not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.” Our obedience is tied to the love of God perfected, which is the Holy Spirit. Our free will and life get in our way with that perfect love (Holy Spirit) the one thing we can count on to get us to obey.

Love is the salve or ointment that heals spiritual and mental wounds. Love is the glue that holds relationships together. Love has to be bigger than the problems that come along. True “Love” is the love that comes from Jesus Christ that is perfected. Somehow, we think we know love, maybe man’s love, God’s love is a different story, it goes beyond our understanding of love. We understand love when that understanding comes from the Holy Spirit. We have to rely on our Spirit that is tied to God because “God is love.” Everything God does is tied to love. 1 John 4:7-10 says “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God, and every one that loveth is born of God and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we

might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation (satisfaction for the death sentence of sin, atonement) for our sins.” This should show us that God’s love was applied when Jesus died on the cross over 2000 years before we were born and our returned love in the belief that Jesus took “our” sentence of death and nailed it to the cross.

If we get God’s understanding of love through the Holy Spirit and learn how to apply it in every situation we are in with humility and obedience to God and focus our thoughts through the Holy Spirit, God knows we are committed and our life changes and are blessed. How much anybody wants the relationship with God to change depends on them and what they are willing to do. I can only speak about myself and what has happened and what you can expect if you change and apply humility, love, and obey God. God Bless.
