What is Our Purpose in Life that God has Planned for Us—R Fritz

We might not understand God has a plan and a purpose for each one of us to succeed in this world as well as our life in heaven. It requires you to follow Jesus to find your real purpose. We all have gifts or things that we are good at. We sometimes saw what we were good at and decided to go down that road in deciding what our vocation or where we worked or started a business with that knowledge. That was you trying to figure out what you liked to do. That does not necessarily give you what your God given gifts are or his plan for you.

You may never know what that plan is. It requires believing in Jesus Christ. Belief being action not just a thought or words. Too many people do not understand we have to follow Jesus which is following his lead. It is either hearing him or the Holy Spirit guiding you to be at or go to whatever place or person he wants you at. Jeremiah 29:11-13 says and this is Jesus speaking “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” The Lord Jesus Christ will give you an expected end with us praying and searching for him with all of our heart.  This is the answer to us hearing and finding Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit.

We can live our whole life and not know or accomplish what God has for us. It is sad when we decide to choose to follow our self or somebody else and not make it to heaven and make them or other things their god versus the choice of following the real God and giving you your needs having eternal life where you will have everything we need. Philippians 4:19 says “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” This applies to his followers, those who obey him, those that love him. It is that love that gives you the personal strength and power from the Holy Spirit to be able to overcome fear, our flesh, our past and Satan.

Our Heart is who we are and who we have become. We can hide our heart from men but not from God. God knows every detail about us and our motives and what makes us tick, our thoughts, past issues, feelings about what we have seen or sometimes it is God testing us. He knows if you trust him or will obey him. Our heart affects every decision we make from the mind. Jeremiah 17:9-10 says “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it. I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins (the seat of desire and longing), even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.”The Lord Jesus Christ knows all hearts and knows who are his elect by their heart and can see the wicked and all their thoughts.

We all have an opportunity to find out God’s purpose. It is us choosing the Holy Spirit and be willing to surrender our will every day. If you do that God will use you in a mighty way. This is not something I just believe it happens to me. I have had many situations where God used me. Let me tell you, you just have to do what you are told by the Holy Spirit.

I had to go to a nursing home and give a Bible scripture. Satan did not want me to deliver that message and on my way there, spoke all kinds of things for me not to go. The closer I got to the nursing home Satan’s words got worse. It did not stop after I got there. I left feeling I did not do all I was supposed to do. The next morning the Holy Spirit told me how ferocious Satan tried to talk me out of going. I had started this blog the night before and opened it up and looked at the title and started to cry. Why, cry, because I saw my purpose. The Holy Spirit said to me “I did not fail on my mission.” The best part was the phone call I got later that the person I had seen and talk to was a different person and able to get out of bed by themself. Matthew 22:14 says and this is Jesus speaking “For many are called but few are chosen.” What Jesus is saying is we are all invited to serve Jesus instead of ourself but few will except that invitation and pay the price. That price is giving 100 % of you and shows if Jesus is truly your Master.

To be chosen is our choice. To get through the issues I had to overcome, took time and perseverance. You are probably in a better position than I was. I just focused on Jesus and kept putting one foot in front of the other. It was me wanting to succeed and now wanting you to succeed. We all will hear one of two sentences from Jesus. One is “Well done, good and faithful servant” in Matthew 25:21 or we will hear as Jesus is speaking in Matthew 7:22-23 “Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in my name? and in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity(wickedness).” You are going to ask why did Jesus say that. These people did what they thought Jesus wanted them to do. They did not have that personal relationship with Jesus. They thought they could cheat and get to heaven their way.

I hope everybody sees the difference between the two sentences Jesus spoke. I pray you find out God’s purpose for you, get that relationship, be one of the chosen and listen to the Holy Spirit. God Bless.
