What our Natural Heart and Spiritual Heart say About Us—R Fritz

Our heart is what keeps the blood flowing in our body, without that we die. Is our spiritual heart and nature tied together? In other words, if our spiritual life is not good does our natural heart become unhealthy? They are tied together and move the body because our feelings and who we are reside there. Fear, stress, smoking, and high blood pressure cause our arteries to clog and are things that affect and cause heart attacks and kill us physically. Fear and stress are feelings that we can control physically but our best way to control them is through the Spirit, the Holy Spirit, and the Bible. Ezekiel 36:26-27 says “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.” That stony heart could have been flawed and unhealthy where the attributes of God did not exist, you might say sickly without the blood flowing freely, blockages. Think about what I just said and if that is me. I would ask God “Why is my heart like that?” The next question is “Do I have my new heart with God’s love, grace, or mercy where God is in control with blood flowing freely?” People need to talk to God through the Holy Spirit. Questions give us wisdom and a relationship, especially from a God who knows all.

Our family generations have a direct basis where physical conditions show up in us. We do not know because, in a lot of cases, we do not look at our ancestors and their diseases and medical problems. The curses started in Genesis 3:14-18 as Adam and Eve sinned with the serpent, all three were given curses by God for disobedience. The serpent cursed to be on its belly and eat dust forever. Women would greatly multiply thy sorrow and the conception as they bring forth children, Adam’s part was the ground was cursed and was going to eat of the herbs of the field all the days of his life.  A man could not even follow one rule. The Holy Spirit came after Jesus left and was sent for us to overcome sin and give us the ability to follow Jesus. Our flaw was God gave us free will, meaning we choose what we will do. God wants us to choose him freely not forced to choose him.

What people do not know is those diseases are from past generations and sometimes miss one generation and then come back to another generation. These are called generational curses that we keep because we do not know that they are spiritual problems that are stopped through prayer. The words we speak stop what past generations either said or done to be cursed. We curse ourselves because we cannot keep quiet or must tell somebody how we feel. We can change the generations after us and stop curses. People have cursed themselves and other people sometimes because of anger not knowing they have done it. What are curses? They are words that can have a lasting effect on people physically as well as mentally. We hear them and mentally we do not forget them because they go to our subconscious mind. When we were kids, we heard people say, “Sticks and stones will break our bones, but names will never hurt us.” The biggest lie I heard as a child. Proverbs 18:21 says “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” We have the power of life and death with our words as I have seen it personally myself. Names are as hurtful to people as they affect their whole life. Words have consequences good or bad. People are nasty sometimes because they do not think about other people. They forget about loving their neighbor as themselves.

We look at people through their words and their actions, our beliefs, what we were taught. We see what is on the outside of people such as height, weight, or how they look. God looks inwardly at the heart and looks at our motives, intents, and desires of our heart, different from humans. 1Samuel 16:7 says, “But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or the height of his stature because I have refused him for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.” God looks at why we do something. The Holy Spirit lives in us and knows our hearts and what we are thinking of. We are people of habit, but the Holy Spirit gives us the ability to change starting with our thoughts. With God’s understanding, we trust God through the Holy Spirit so we can do the things we would not do in the past. It gives us confidence as we do what the Holy Spirit wants us to do where we gain more confidence.

What I have found is finding truth changes how we feel about ourselves. It is knowing the Bible as we study subjects as learning who God is or learning the words God uses. These are blessings we earn by doing the things most people will not do or make time for. Blessings also come from God either for things we did or things God just gives to us. Philippians 4:19 says “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” That does not say God might supply all our needs, it says he shall supply all our needs. We will be blessed by God. People can bless us also, sometimes as small as putting a smile on our face or making us laugh. That might sound small but to some people that makes their day. Blessings and curses start as words but turn into spiritual items. Remember that the words that come out of mouths are important.

It is love from the Holy Spirit that lets us do the right thing. Numbers 6;24-26 says, “The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: the Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.” God Bless.
