It is Our Thoughts that Will Change Our Life—R Fritz
Our thoughts or how we see things can change at any time. God and the Holy Spirit were the reason we change because the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth and our teacher to teach us all things. Our thoughts before we knew God were our thoughts with Satan mixing his thoughts without us knowing our adversary and accepting those thoughts as our own. Once we know the truth about our thoughts, we should be able to overcome with the Holy Spirit, giving us wisdom as we go in real time if we are aware of what is going on around us. Our ability to see what is going on around us is important because it has to do with people.
People are important in our life, sometimes I have found people cause problems for us as their opinions and the things they do are not what we need, they cause problems for us. The problems that I find are that I want to get away from people and stay away. The Holy Spirit says that the answer to my problems is with people, of course not the same people, those people who have answers for us. They are mostly people of the world who are living on their thoughts as well as the thoughts that are given that we know come from Satan or other spirits manipulating these people. These people accept those thoughts and do not care what they say because they are speaking their mind. They do not think about what they say before they say them. James 1:19-20 says “Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.” We have words before we act that were given to us to get along with people. The world does not see or care with their belief they can say and do what they want, again against what the Bible says. These thoughts were some of the thoughts that were our thoughts before we chose Jesus. They should not be our thoughts now because God’s love should be guiding our every word and action through the Holy Spirit. We know that God’s love, grace, and mercy are characteristics of God which are how we are supposed to live our life. The problem again is people.
People bring the best and the worst out in us. Our feelings affect our thoughts, and we can deal with that until people come along and say things that are things that go against our beliefs, our experiences, what the Holy Spirit tells us to do or what the Bible says. In my case people have no problem speaking out their opinions or how they feel. What I do is listen to them, which can affect our thoughts or how we feel about those people who have a personality trait of being aggressive where their experiences become truth to them as they talk about other people. What people refuse to do is look at the other person and stand in their shoes to see the other side of the story. This is what I call thinking out of the box, it is thinking differently than most people. It is looking at both sides of the coin, then looking at the third side, the edge of the coin. The third side is the side where we look at both sides of the coin and can see the truth. The truth is what we are looking for and what our life should be drawn to.
The Holy Spirit draws us with God’s love to see God’s truth which becomes our truth without our thinking involved. God’s truth does not take into account anything about us or our opinion, it is meant to take us away from sin and down a path to be like Jesus. All the other things take us away from God’s purpose for our life. That purpose if we follow will give our life fulfillment and a reason to get out of bed every morning. Our thoughts change and we focus on Jesus and our purpose where our life and what and how we live aligns with Jesus. God uses grace, mercy with his love to show us who he is and why we should trust him. Our thoughts become focused more when Satan and spirits try to use people to change that bond to Jesus through the Holy Spirit. Our bond to Jesus should be strong as our enemy Satan tries to use confusion, fear, lies to persuade us we are doing the right thing or following Jesus but Satan is showing us what we want to see that is why we cannot always believe what we see. Without the Holy Spirit what we see can look good and holy from our point of view as Satan can change our perception how we see things. The battles are won in the spirit which we see in the flesh. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 says “(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” Every thought has to obey Jesus and I have seen this happen many times. The Word becomes truth in our life and has all power on Earth as it comes out of our mouth.
Remember our Father in heaven has our back covered. Isaiah 52:12 says “For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the Lord will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rereward (rear guard)” We have the Holy Spirit who now covers our back as it lives in us. Our thoughts are also guarded if we have surrendered and let the Holy Spirit be the guard for our life. Be the person God has ordained us to be. God Bless.
