When We Speak to Somebody our Words had better Line up with our Actions—R Fritz

I find too many people speaking words and committing to doing things and when things change do not tell the people involved that we cannot do what was promised. It is a lack of respect and a waste of time for somebody not to think about somebody else. It shows where our thoughts are, which is on ourselves. It is picking up the phone or texting somebody to let them know something changed and we cannot do what we wanted to do. It is a simple and righteous thing to do. Mark 12:30-31 says, and this is Jesus, speaking, “And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all my mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.” We need to love ourselves first before we can love thy neighbor or love God.

If we do not know God’s love, we do not know God because God is Love. 1 John 4:16,18 says “And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” Fear stops God’s love and has torment. There is no fear or torment in God’s love. We make a choice for one or the other. I had fear for fifty years and torment comes with fear but when God’s love shows up fear has to leave. Those that still have fear, worry and are anxious, feelings that control them need to read the verses that speak against fear any time the spirit of fear shows up.

Our words speak for themselves, they either are positive influence on somebody or the words a negative pull or takedown on somebody. God’s words never come back void. God’s words do exactly as they meant to do. Isaiah 55:8-9,11 says “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” The words written in the Bible were words given by God and are words that come alive and were made to change situations. God’s word stop fear, they stop Satan, they stop disease. Most people either do not know what God’s word can do or do not believe that, either way we lose. We need to look for the truth, when we search for the truth with believing we will find it because the Holy Spirit makes sure it happens.  It takes us to do something, search. It is up to us to initiate wanting something from God then to receive it. That is why most people go to man where we just have to show up and listen with nothing required to receive what is said. God wants a relationship with us through the Holy Spirit.

The words we speak we are responsible for. We cannot say that somebody else made me angry and because of what somebody else said caused us to speak angry words back. We are still responsible and will be judged. We are not allowed to say what we want. Matthew 12:36-37 says and this is Jesus, speaking “But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, shall give account thereof in the day of judgement. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shall be condemned.” For those who think they can say what they want with no consequences these verses should put an end to that lie. We will have to answer for every word we speak.

If we love people and treat them right our words will be right (righteous). We then will be able to say what we want with the Holy Spirit in control of our words. When we are not in control of our feelings, they get us into trouble. For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Our feelings change our heart and then our mouth speaks out what our heart has become. James 1:19-20 says “Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.” God gave us two ears for a reason, for us to listen. One mouth with a brain and a heart with the Holy Spirit to be in control. That is the way God planned it. Do we understand what God has planned or do we want to do it our way. We can do whatever we want, people call it freedom or we can do it God’s way and get true liberty with God’s blessings. This is the decision we have to make with choices.

God made us with the need to be with him. We do not know that and find out over our lifetime. We find there is something missing in our life. It is a spiritual relationship that man cannot give, one where we have an opportunity to get rid of the thing that keeps us from having that relationship, sin, doing what we want with no rules. We learn we have to change from who we are to who God meant for us to be. This is a choice we have to make every day of our life. Who is our master and who controls us. That is why we need to surrender all of us including our feelings.

Jesus came to set us free from sin and an opportunity to live a full life with our God. We need the Holy Spirit to teach us to be like God. We then need to listen and follow the Holy Spirit. Our words need to be under control and should line up with our actions. We need to see the mistakes we are making and change. We are not by ourselves; the Holy Spirit gives us all we need to overcome. Remember that when things look like we cannot win. God Bless.
