The question many people ask is where is God? We must look at God’s characteristics to figure out where God is. He is omnipotent (all-powerful), omnipresent (everywhere at once), all-loving, gracious, and compassionate. The answer to the question is God is everywhere. When people ask where God is my question is how is your relationship with God? We do not know God well enough because the problem is a lack of communication on our part. People might say I do this or do that because we are supposed to do God’s will not just anything that looks good. Matthew 7:21-23 says, and this is Jesus speaking “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in their name, have they done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity (lawlessness).” Why would Jesus say this to people who are doing good? It is because they do what they think God wants them to do. They are not listening or obeying God or do not know him. Communication comes from us knowing what God wants, we get that by studying the Bible.
Jesus came to show how to live our lives, that we need to change because we have lived our way which is not pleasing to God. We did not care about God until one day we saw life was not fair to us or life was not making us happy. That is where we see a place that makes us start to see life unbearable, where we have a challenging time living, a dark place where our thoughts become dark where spirits affect us. People who know Jesus are sent to speak to those who need help. We choose whether we want to stay in the dark areas or move to the light. Satan wants to keep us in the dark telling us it is not that bad or saying do not tell anybody, but fear stops us from getting help. Some of these people are believers who came with baggage. Satan keeps lying to these people to stay in the darkness because fear which is a lie keeps them there. John 10:10:11 says and this is Jesus speaking “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” The thief (Satan) shows his character whereas Jesus shows his character. We forget about Jesus and his love which will draw those struggling out at some point.
I am talking about suicide which affects those who must deal with the calls which are calls for help. The calls were not to me, they were to other chaplains whom I advised them to get to commit to some help, so they do not keep going through the same calls over and over with no good ending. What people might not understand is these calls take a toll on the people who deal each time with these calls. Sometimes there is fallout when dealing with these people. What I try to say is we are the mouthpiece for God as the Holy Spirit speaks what needs to be spoken through us with our job being to be at a particular place or on the phone or in person to be that source of light from the Holy Spirit. It gets personal for us because our feelings are involved and Satan wants to be involved where we need to let God be in control and we need to remember that and stay out of the situation.
Satan wants our feelings involved because that is how he can control us. Satan wants to be in control and will go to measures to keep us in his control. Satan never asks us to help us or what is normal to Satan is to make our life miserable with the consequences being our fault. Satan uses our thoughts, minds, and perceptions to manipulate us to stay in our current situation where we stay in depression and despair. Perception is the worst because we see things that are not true, and we do know that as we believe what we see. We are in mental pain looking to medicate and thinking of a way to get rid of the pain through alcohol or other means. Satan sees our pain because he put us there to give advice when we think those thoughts become ours. Eventually, thoughts of suicide flow into our minds to numb the pain provided by Satan or his minions. Romans 12:2 says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” We need to renew our minds through God because we learn his will for us. I have seen how Satan changes our perception of what we see going up to the top of a fourteen-thousand ft. mountain where I saw which appeared to look like a terrain change as Satan told me I was not going up or down from the mountain. The Holy Spirit changed that perception back to reality and that is how Satan changes perception.
Our perceptions and thoughts need to change which means God through the Holy Spirit needs to help us. What happens is we meet somebody with the Holy Spirit, and the light that shines on our situation where we are locked in this situation cannot see a way out from the pain, and forget Jesus and his love will change our situation. Joshua 1:9 says “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord, thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.” What we forget is the Bible has our answers but all we can see is our pain. We believe God has not answered our prayer when we do not see our problem disappear when God sent somebody to help, and we did not see who was sent was from God or our problem was not solved our way.
Many people want their problem to just go away, it normally does not work that way, it requires us to change and decide our fate with our will to want an end to our problem. I make that statement because the many things I have gone through required me to be a part of the solution with a teaching moment from God, so we do not get in that same situation again. When we try to do it on our own, we do not see all the things going on because they are spiritual. Our battles are spiritual battles with us only knowing to fight in the flesh. Our relationship with the Holy Spirit is the key to overcoming our issues. Every day we need to renew our relationship. God Bless.
Our Purpose
In this world in which we are living, it is obvious that the Word of God needs to reach those that are lost and are searching for answers to events surrounding the news media that are bombarding us with what is in most cases, false news. There is no doubt in our minds that all the answers are found in the scriptures of the Holy Bible and it is our intent to search the scriptures thoroughly and find the answers to everyday questions that are people are pondering. There is no way that anybody can exhaust the whole Bible and know all the answers, but through divine inspiration from the Holy Spirit, that we will be lead according to His will. One thing that we hear out in the world is, “The Bible is too hard to understand.” The mistake that people most commonly make is, they think they can read and understand the Bible without guidance from the Holy Spirit and that is impossible. We will take scriptures out of the Bible and try our best to bring them to life. The Word of God is a living testimony of Jesus Christ and in order to know the living God (Jesus Christ) you have to understand the written Word.
It is or hope that we will lead people to the saving knowledge and wisdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! It is our intent to encourage people to get into the Word of God and hear what our Lord has to say to you. We understand that no human being alive can save another human being from the destruction of sin. Only by grace can one be forgiven through faith and that in and of itself is a free gift generously given to us by our heavenly Father through the death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ! It is our intent to bring to life the truth of salvation through Jesus Christ! There are two particular verses in the Bible that we keep in the front our memory bank. Acts 17:11; “These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.” We expect you to be a Berean and search the scriptures daily to make sure that we are guiding you in all truth according to God’s Word. Secondly, Romans 8:28; “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Once you become born-again and know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, then you can be assured that everything that happens in your life will be Father filtered.
