Giving Comes from the Heart—R Fritz
God gave us the will to give to others, which was instilled in us, yet we choose to give once or decide to only once a year. There is no bigger giver than God. That being said, those who know Jesus know he gave his life for us to choose eternal life. We are given so much by God things like grace, mercy, healing, peace, and most important love. If we love people, we will give to those that need our help. I have spoken to somebody about giving to people we see needing a hand up and we decide who needs it with God’s help instead of giving a gift to a group where they decide who gets the help. People do not see the obvious or do the easy thing instead of asking what I should do with my money. So many people need something as well as money, sometimes as little as just talking about what is going on in their life. But we will never know because we do not take the time to find out. We are so busy with our own life we do not see what is going on around us even if it is right in front of our faces. Maybe we do not want to get involved, I get it but let us look at it from our viewpoint to see if it was us that had a need and somebody stepped up to help. I will never forget the people who helped me, these people were people of God and got me to a point where I could never have imagined a life that is blessed because I have given back. If we only knew where I came from and the spiritual battles, I had which I thought were just life. We just do not know that most of the stuff going on in our lives is spiritual and can be changed spiritually. That is exactly the way it changed my life. I bought into the Holy Spirit because what I have seen such as miracles which I saw but did not know at the time because they were normal, happened many times until somebody told me what was going on in their life that is when I first saw the miracles. We choose what we do, I chose the one that would change my life and believe in God. James 1:22-26 says “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your selves. For if any be a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.” The law of liberty is God’s plan where the Holy Spirit lives in us to change for our sin-filled life. It is our choice if we surrender and obey the Holy Spirit because if we do, we will be blessed. That is what happened to me. Life is not perfect, but I am blessed beyond my dreams.
If we are not getting blessed because we are not asking or are not listening to the Holy Spirit. It might be for us to speak to somebody about God’s love. It starts at our heart if we have the Holy Spirit our hearts change. Ezekiel 36:26-27 says “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. With the Holy Spirit in us, we should be changed to be more like God. We still must find out who God is, or God must give us his understanding which comes from studying his word. With a heart change that should change how we see things. In my case, the Holy Spirit has shown me to look at things from standing in somebody else’s shoes. That is sometimes hard to do when we are unaware of what is going on with somebody. What does that tell us? We do not know what is going on and quit trying to judge somebody. There are times when I am allowed to see spiritually a three-hundred-sixty-degree picture. That does not mean that what I see is ever seen by anybody else, it is for my information.
Compassion plays a part in our lives whether it be a lack of it or a touch of compassion right from God through the Holy Spirit. Compassion comes from God and our feelings have a part in how much compassion we have. Satan influences compassion when we look at somebody’s needs. We should know better and remember Satan wants to confuse us to do the wrong thing such as I need the money, or I could use my time best for what I need. We need to understand what compassion means, which is: a feeling of deep sympathy and sorrow for another who is stricken by misfortune, accompanied by a strong desire to alleviate the suffering. Compassion requires us to do something, it is not just words. 1 Peter 3:8-9 says “Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing: knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye shall inherit a blessing.” It is about us seeing the good things we can do in somebody’s tough situation.
It is about our heart, the change from a stony heart to a fleshly heart where we let the Holy Spirit be our lead. It is about giving all year long as well as our current Christmas season. It seems people give now but forget or choose not to give the rest of the year. People need our help all year with cheer and love showing it by finding need and taking care of it. God Bless.
Our Purpose
In this world in which we are living, it is obvious that the Word of God needs to reach those that are lost and are searching for answers to events surrounding the news media that are bombarding us with what is in most cases, false news. There is no doubt in our minds that all the answers are found in the scriptures of the Holy Bible and it is our intent to search the scriptures thoroughly and find the answers to everyday questions that are people are pondering. There is no way that anybody can exhaust the whole Bible and know all the answers, but through divine inspiration from the Holy Spirit, that we will be lead according to His will. One thing that we hear out in the world is, “The Bible is too hard to understand.” The mistake that people most commonly make is, they think they can read and understand the Bible without guidance from the Holy Spirit and that is impossible. We will take scriptures out of the Bible and try our best to bring them to life. The Word of God is a living testimony of Jesus Christ and in order to know the living God (Jesus Christ) you have to understand the written Word.
It is or hope that we will lead people to the saving knowledge and wisdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! It is our intent to encourage people to get into the Word of God and hear what our Lord has to say to you. We understand that no human being alive can save another human being from the destruction of sin. Only by grace can one be forgiven through faith and that in and of itself is a free gift generously given to us by our heavenly Father through the death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ! It is our intent to bring to life the truth of salvation through Jesus Christ! There are two particular verses in the Bible that we keep in the front our memory bank. Acts 17:11; “These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.” We expect you to be a Berean and search the scriptures daily to make sure that we are guiding you in all truth according to God’s Word. Secondly, Romans 8:28; “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Once you become born-again and know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, then you can be assured that everything that happens in your life will be Father filtered.
