Sometimes we are Required to Fight the Battle When we Give People the Truth—R Fritz

Sometimes giving the truth requires people to make decisions they do not want to make. It requires people to look at their life and how it is going. Some people do not want to make that decision and do nothing, which is a decision. That decision leads to what I call imprisonment in their bad situation with Satan being the prison warden, lying to them and adding fear so they would rather stay in that imprisonment. The Holy Spirit helps us battle through that, adding more truth to what was offered to break through all the lies, stopping the fear. It requires us to engage the situation and asking the Holy Spirit to lead our thoughts to overrule Satan and his schemes. We are not going to change or to see the spiritual battle going on without spiritual support. We are looking for assurance we are making the right decision. We call that trust and comes from only one place, the Holy Spirit. In other words, we are not going to overcome without trusting the Holy Spirit. That is the scenario I saw this week.

We see Satan trying to stop the plan God has started. Fear is the tool Satan uses to control us. Fear is Satan using our past and present life to predict our future. We see it as real and believe it will happen and there starts worry. Because of my fifty years dealing with fear and through the Holy Spirit and Bible verses I learned how to defeat fear immediately. That does not mean it does not show up and try to manipulate me, but I see spiritually what it is and defeat it. Fear has torment and I have felt that and know when it shows up. 1 John 4:18 says “There is no fear in love: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” Fear leaves when love (the Holy Spirit) shows up. The Holy Spirit lives in us, it requires us to invite him in all the things we do. That is the relationship we have with the Holy Spirit, he will never force us to accept him or do anything, that is why we must ask the Holy Spirit to get to know us and our hearts desire and our Father in heaven blessing us.

Lies are what Satan uses to manipulate people, fear is one of the tools he uses because fear is a lie on what we believe is the future of ourselves or somebody we know. We believe Satan’s lies because they seem so real to us, they are Satan’s whisperings in our ear and Satan’s ability for us to see the lie he is propagating in our mind (our battlefield). John 8:44 says and this Jesus speaking “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode (stands) not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speakest a lie, he speakest of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” Jesus said the devil is a liar and the father of lies. The Holy Spirit has shown me how lies have changed the world and still do. Satan wants to control our thoughts. Satan knows if he can control our thoughts, he can control us. That goal is attained through using our feelings and emotions and our past bad experiences with Satan adding some thoughts to push us in the direction he wants us to go with our actions. Satan wants to control us and tries to do that by schemes where we do not know Satan wants to choose what we do. God knows what is best for us, but we get to make decisions and we choose Jesus. Satan hates us and wants us to be sentenced as he will be cast in the lake of fire.

We must know our enemy or know we have an enemy. The thoughts we have are not necessarily our thoughts, they come from three places ourselves, God, or Satan. These are facts we need to overcome Satan and his schemes. These are the facts that were experienced or taught by the Holy Spirit to me. I am sent out in battles but am taught to watch what is going on around me knowing that the Holy Spirit has gone before me and got the battle ready for me. Isaiah 52:12 says “For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the Lord will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rereward (rear guard). If we are sent out to God’s work, God will take care of us. We just need to trust him. That is not looking with our normal eyes, it is using our spiritual eyes where we see the truth without fear.

My mission sometimes is to give a message as I was praying that morning and saw what Satan was doing physically to somebody I have known and was giving the options for this person to overcome the spiritual battle that had to happen. Sometimes when that battle comes these people cannot overcome because of Satan’s schemes and being beatdown. I have been where these people are and somebody else took that battle for me. We should be looking around at the people we know and evaluating what we can do. It requires us to pray about what we see happening in the people we know. The Holy Spirit gives us the ability to see in the Spirit what we cannot see otherwise. Romans 8:26-27 says “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities for we know what we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searches the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.” The Spirit is who makes intercession in our lives looking at our heart to see if it lines up with the will of God.

The opportunity to help somebody, especially somebody we know sometimes is hard for us to do. Too many people say let somebody else do it, I cannot do that. It requires the Holy Spirit to give us the courage to do what we do not want to do. I have seen people battle things I could not do; I will not let somebody battle alone and the Holy Spirit will come before me to prepare me for the battle. That is what we all should do for our friends, family or anybody that needs us. God Bless.
