How we Fight Depends on if We Win our Battles—R Fritz

This subject is seen why Christians are failing to win our battles in life. When the battle gets personal, we either do not know (follow the world) or it gets personal, and we forget to use God’s tools that he gave us to use to win. We need to be with people who can see what is going on and can see and remind us what we are looking at and are acting on these issues in the flesh. I was involved in 2 separate issues this last week. They were issues that were decided by a group of people. They did not go well. People trying to dictate what somebody does normally does not. I agreed with one decision, then people can not leave good enough alone. The other decision is not done yet. I thought it was. Satan wants to make everything personal and to get us to fight in the flesh. I teach this and it still happens to me. The Holy Spirit showed me the decision was wrong and I needed to write about this subject.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 says, “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”  These verses are so important and have changed many situations in my life. We need to pray about decisions so we can see all angles of our decisions. Sometimes the Holy Spirit gives us Bible verses to speak, or they give us answers. One of the most important is the words given to us to combat what Satan is doing or how Satan is affecting our thoughts. Those words stop Satan in his tracks.

We need to speak them, if we do not speak them, we have done nothing. Satan does not read our mind, so we need to tell him to stop lying or what we want him to stop. Our words through the Holy Spirit have power to command Satan and his spirits. Luke 10:17-20 says, and this is Jesus answering the disciples “And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. And he said unto them, “I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over “all” the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by “any” means hurt you.” The power given to the disciples was also given to all that have the Holy Spirit. Know who you are with the Holy Spirit and use it accordingly with no fear. Satan will try to tell you and intimidate you to believe you have no power, so you do not use it. Let the Holy Spirit speak for you and do not hinder it and let our thoughts be under control of the Holy Spirit so thoughts not righteous are cast out of your mind. Satan will try his hardest for you to go back to sin. You just need to remind him he is a liar and the father of lies.

God is in control of all. We were given free will to choose. Satan is under God’s rule. Satan cannot do things without God’s permission. Job 1:9-10,12 says Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought? Hast not thou made a hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. And the Lord said unto Satan, “Behold, all that he hath is in thy power, only upon himself put not forth thine hand.” So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord. Job had God’s blessing and a hedge around all his property with God’s hand on Job. God gave Satan permission to touch everything except he could not touch Job. God is in control of everything including Satan. That does not mean God will not test you. Sometimes the Holy Spirit lets you fail to give you a lesson to learn.

You have to know your enemy. You should know Satan cannot read your mind. Satan gives you thoughts to see how you react through our words or actions and through that learns what we are thinking. Confusion and distractions are tools Satan uses. Satan wants you to go back in darkness instead of the light. Satan wants you to get by yourself instead of getting around people who can help you. Satan entices you to operate in your own abilities instead of your God given abilities and then you fight in the flesh. This is a strategy that works for Satan.

Satan wants you to fail to get back into prayer and studying God’s word. God’s word comes alive and gives you the answers with the Holy Spirit teaching the issues and showing the lies Satan has told you and giving the truth to set you free. God sent his disciples out two by two for a reason. We need to remember why God sent the disciples out. It was the good news in Jesus Christ we are supposed to give to people. When we gave our life to Jesus Christ it was not just for us, it was to serve Jesus Christ. Our heart was changed. We are a new creature in Christ. The battle is in our mind. We need to use our spiritual eyes and ears when the Holy Spirit asks us to use our senses, sometimes for helping other people.

It really gets down to you and you know that everything that comes to you through your thoughts is not necessarily your thoughts. They come from God, Satan, and yourself. Your job is to decide which thoughts are righteous, right, unrighteous, or evil. We all know right from wrong, and all have a conscience, which was given before our birth. God’s rules were written on our hearts and minds. Those with the Holy Spirit have an added living Spirit of God that if you give your will up or most of it will show you righteousness and the keys to God’s love, grace, mercy. God Bless.
