We Need to Look at What we have Done for God and Our Fellow Man—R Fritz

We have a responsibility to God to do what he needs done especially when it is to give somebody what they are looking for from God. We have so many needy people that we see that they are under deep stress that we do not try to help. Speaking about things that we should do now and what our future will need to be discussed with the Holy Spirit, called change. The Holy Spirit knows our future as we need to be attuned with what the Holy Spirit needs us to do. God knows exactly when and how we will need to accomplish his goal with us able to do what we need to do at the same time. Jeremiah 29:11-13 says “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me and I will hearken (listen) unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”  We must trust God completely and do exactly what we are asked to do, that takes time to trust God with our life. If we trust God with everything we do, our life will change.

People choose to make statements they will change after the New Year. To many people them are idle words where they do not really mean it, they try but give up. The problem they are depending on themselves to do what they want to change. If they asked for help from the Holy Spirit, they could accomplish what they want done. I will speak from experience where I overcome fear and many other issues with the help of the Holy Spirit as well as a few men. Why do we think we can do things we tried and failed many times when our God with all the answers can help us accomplish our goal?            It is because either we do not know our God or we do not trust him. We look to change only at the start of the new year. The problem with choosing once a year to change is that we lose the time we could have had a better life while we have struggled for months. God wants us to look at the day before and judge what we have done and decide a plan for the next day not just keep doing what we always have done.            At the same time, we choose who we will serve each day and when we choose the Holy Spirit, he will show us what we did the day before and what will give us better results our next day. If we choose ourselves, we will probably do what we have done until we get sick of our results. Luke 9:23-24 says and this Jesus speaking “And he said to them all, if any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away? Jesus talks about if we follow him daily if we lose our life because of Jesus we will be saved and will choose heaven, if not we can get everything from this world but will lose our life because of our choice of the world we chose hell. We will choose our eternal life destination. We can live our life with Jesus going about our business knowing our next life, which is forever, will be better or living without Jesus living it with no care in the world having the best time knowing this is as good as it will ever get in our regular life.

We should look at our life expecting the best each day. If we have a bad day, we expect the next will still be good. That ability to see the best is instilled in us as we choose Jesus as we believe it will be good even when it is not. I remember when I was in the world and did not know Jesus, I hated doing the same every day and that was my outlook because I could not see my life changing ever. I did not change my job or change my friends at first the difference was Jesus being in my life. Romans 12:2 says “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. It still has not changed with Jesus making my day and improving my day, seeing miracles and helping people to see the same things. I still have bad days because Satan still hates those of us who have chosen Jesus, obey him and live for him. It is the spirits of this world who afflict people then instead of choosing love, live their life without hope of seeing the worst of this world and not seeing anything better. That is where I was at one time twenty-five years ago, where I can relate to other people and show empathy for others in bad situations.

We fight and hate the spirits that afflict and affect people and their thoughts and actions, we do not hate these people.  Ever wonder why people act differently than others or out of control, it is the spirits who control them. These spirits have taken years to attach to us and become part of us that most people do not know exist. They have made us who we are and until we see them for what they are, we will keep surrendering to them until the Holy Spirit helps us to boot them out of us where we can surrender to the Holy Spirit. That can be a long process requiring our spiritual insight where the Holy Spirit and our discernment can see what needs to be taken care of. 1 Corinthians 2:13-15 says “Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. Again, I am speaking from my experience with myself as well as many other people. That is why the Holy Spirit has me look at those around me and watch and discern what I see in them. What I speak about is deep for most people as this is what I see and is what I know to pray for people. It sometimes is to pray for that spirit to leave. Discernment is what keeps us from being able to pray and see what people need spiritually.
