It is so Hard to Understand why People so Young are Taken (Die)—R Fritz

We all know people who have died young, before what we believe their time should be on earth. My extended family saw a senseless death with alcohol and a vehicle. Somebody took this person’s life. They did not mean for death to happen but the tool used was alcohol to cause people to do things foolishly or stupidly without thinking of the consequences.  That was somebody’s son or daughter and the pain that was inflicted on that family. When we are young, we think we are invincible, do not think of death, and do not believe it will happen to us. I remember that stage as well as the retirement stage, there is also the illness stage that strikes us, we look at things differently at different stages of life.

Satan convinces us we are invincible when we are young because we do not know any better and have not gone through life’s lessons yet. We become more reckless when we are young.  In this person’s case who was killed, it was alcohol and the wrong place at the wrong time. We take one of these causes out of the equation and this person would still be alive. God does not guarantee we are going to live a certain total of years. Matthew 6:34 says and this is Jesus, speaking “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” We live each day by ourselves because tomorrow will take care of itself. Jesus knows what will happen tomorrow and he might prepare us for it. We just need to listen to his voice.

I have seen where people who have known for a few days or hours that death was near. I had somebody close to me whom God told me that would not last much longer. As it turned out the time was one week more so I got that week but that was all I got. What I did not know was the exact time or date. We cannot put things off tomorrow when we should do them today. When we do not do things on God’s time and wait till tomorrow something else usually comes so our plan gets put on hold. I see that a lot and have been working with somebody that wants to wait till tomorrow and am showing them what I see. Our plan does not work because our plan does not match God’s plan for our life. We are not on the same page.

Life is so precious especially when you see young people pass away. Time should be at a premium. If we know Jesus we should be following and obey him. That means we should be on God’s time and if we are surrendered to the Holy Spirit our clocks match and are synced together. This is where we can accomplish much for God. It is where we can go from one appointment to another appointment through the day getting where we need with the Holy Spirit making sure our time matches God’s and whoever we need to meet with. That is what happens to me. That is my choice and could be anyone of us that also makes that same choice.

Nobody escapes death knowing when it will come. We have to live life to its fullest not for us but for God because with the Holy Spirit, we get liberty and the knowledge of God. God will give us that opportunity to enjoy our life with our family as well as accomplish what God wants. If we have a close relationship with the Holy Spirit, we give God our best he will give us his best. It is the blessings God gives us because he loves us. We obey God because that shows we love God. Faith without works is dead. James 2:24-26 says “Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers and had sent them out another way? For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” We have to do something with our faith, it shows our belief level because if we believe, action will follow. Something has to move us for action to follow, acts that the Holy Spirit moves in us.

There is no special way to react to death. Everybody is different it is a personal thing with our feelings, state of mind, and where we are in our relationship with God through the Holy Spirit that drives our actions. Losing a child is probably the hardest death I had to face. The Holy Spirit was what helped me get through and was my secret weapon to get through anything. We battle longer than we have to because our grief is not given to God through the Holy Spirit. What I learned was we choose to struggle through our grief. I said to the Holy Spirit “just give me a month I will be good by then.” It was actually about a month more to process my grief. What I found was so many people wanted to help which was great. Most people do not understand that everybody is different in the grieving process. In my case I appreciated the people asking if they could help but the more, I talked about the death the worse it was for me. It is wise to ask and let the grieving person come back to us. What I saw with people at work was they would stare at me and say nothing. I would say to them “Thank you for thinking about me, I get your concern.” Years ago, I found out from somebody who had cancer tell me people were afraid to be around them. I learned that people do not know what to say so we stay away. We need to understand that we just speak to people about illnesses that look to be terminal the same way we speak to other people.

God is in control of everything on this earth as well as in this world. He made it all and knows our situation and where we are at. Our relationship with the Holy Spirit sets us up to get in a situation where we put ourselves into our hands or God’s hands. If we get someplace where God does not want us to be, he will let us know we should not do what we are doing or send somebody to let us know we are going down the wrong road. When we do not hear God or choose not to listen to God things can happen, but that does not mean God made the situation we got in. God knows the outcome no matter which decision we make. We have free will, he will not take that away from us. That next decision we make could change our life forever or end it. We have that right. That is why we need the Holy Spirit who keeps us safe even when our decisions are sometimes wrong in God’s eyes.

There comes a time when our time is up on earth. We can make decisions to die before our time, but God is in control. The Holy Spirit showed me in a certain situation where this person was taken because he knew the end result and now was the best time. What we should be looking at is did that person make it to God’s kingdom. Yes, we miss them but “our goal” should be we will see them when “we” see Jesus.

We are responsible for ourselves, and nobody else. My job is to point people in the right direction or to verses in the Bible. The answer to our questions on life is in the Bible or the Holy Spirit or somebody sent by the Holy Spirit. We all will stand before God. Romans 14:11-12 says “For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give an account of himself to God.” We will have to give an account of ourselves with no excuses because we have the Bible and the Holy Spirit.

Telling God “I did not know that” will not work or I believed my pastor and he was wrong. We are supposed to know God and have that relationship with him. Make the choice to get to know God before it is too late. It will change our life. God Bless.
