When we Meet the same Person many times, we Should Know God has a Reason—R Fritz
God has a way to show people different things as a test; we just need to pay attention. When we see the same person several times over a small time, we should be asking the Holy Spirit why we see this person so often. The Holy Spirit is speaking to us a lot; we just do not know because either we are not paying attention or we do not know God’s voice. The Holy Spirit speaks to us in many ways; we need to pay attention. We pray for something, yet we forget about it. God gives us what we need, not necessarily what we want; we need to have a relationship with the Holy Spirit, asking him to be part of our lives every day. That is an easy way to get to know the Holy Spirit: when things happen, we see how the Holy Spirit responds. We must decide if we will be part of the Holy Spirit’s army. It is us being able to do the things we are asked to do, as the Holy Spirit needs all. Many are called, but few choose the life where Jesus is one of the most important things in their life. Mathew 22:13-14 says, and this is Jesus speaking about the Parable of the Wedding Feast, and says, “Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into the outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called. But few are chosen.” The called are everybody with the invitation we give to follow Jesus. The chosen are those that accept that invitation, gain faith, trust, and live changed lives, follow and obey Jesus through the Holy Spirit. We have a plan that was made for us by God. To open that plan requires us to at least have a relationship to know what we need to do to move ahead with that plan. Some how, we do not trust God.
It is the trust issue we cannot get by; we like what we are doing and do not want to change. God has a bigger plan for us, way bigger than what we can see. We have no clue what God has for us, yet we do not ask. We might be happy where we are or not, yet we will never be truly happy until we find out what we are missing in our life. We were given a spirit, and we were made in God’s image, as well as God breathed life into Adam. God also gave us free will to choose everything, including whether we want God. We are born without knowing God; we live our life without him until somebody decides to bring God into our life, yet we decide at some point whether we want God. God, through the Holy Spirit, tries to draw us to him as our life goes through our choices and the things we go through. We live life from what we know or learn, with Satan feeding our mind with his thoughts and giving us his wisdom, trying to take us down with Satan’s goal of having a life that is without God on Satan’s terms, which we believe is on our terms. 2 Corinthians 11:14 says “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” Satan wants to look like God, so we perceive what we see in the flesh as truth. With the Holy Spirit, we can see the truth in the spirit. John 8:44 says, and this is Jesus speaking, “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and father of it.” Satan is a liar and the father of lies. That does not mean our goals and plans are not ours as our opinions or what we think come from many sources. It is when we choose Jesus that our spirit comes alive, and when we accept Jesus, the Holy Spirit either comes upon us, or we receive the Holy Spirit, and it lives in us. We get back to having a relationship with God through the Holy Spirit; we will not get to walk with Jesus until we die.
We need to look around because there are many things the Holy Spirit wants to show us. We need to pray when we see something out of sorts. We want to see truth that comes when we are in the Spirit. It is when things do not look right, or they do not feel right, that we ask questions because it puts a check in our spirit. That is our discernment when we can see things spiritually. Words can sound good; people are good at camouflage or hiding the truth. We need to watch people spiritually where we see some of the truth, then ask the Holy Spirit for the rest of the truth. I see so many times that what people tell me that does not look right is usually how we look at things; it is how much of us is surrendered. The Holy Spirit does matter as we see things differently as other people that are not surrendered see it because they only see it through their eyes and experiences, personally. 1Corinthians 2:12-15 says, “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.” This explains why some people see things while others do not; it is because of where we are with God and our relationship with the Holy Spirit. The more time we spend with the Holy Spirit gives us the ability to see and know what God is trying to do. It is up to us to receive what the Holy Spirit has for us. God Bless.
